Hooded eyelids?
Just because your eyelid is hidden doesn't mean that you should avoid eyeshadows! With your eye open, make a mark on the upper eye above the area that your eyelids hide. Then, take some eyeshadow to to this point so it is seen when your eyes are open. Then soften it and apply a lighter color on the inner corner to open the eye.
