What is Beauty?
What is Beauty?
Thursday, November 05, 2009
Since launching our Beauty at All Ages contest with the fabulous exploremodeling.com, we’ve asked you to tell us what beauty means to you. We received tons of amazing responses! Here are just a few beautiful quotes, in response to our e.l.f. beauty at all ages Youtube video, describing what beauty means to them!
-“Beauty is beyond the eye of the beholder. No matter what make-up you try, it personalizes your own creativity which will stand out.”
-“True beauty radiates from within - it the outward expression of beautiful soul.”
-“A beautiful person is someone who is true to themselves and everyone around them. Being yourself is beautiful.”
-“Beauty is a verb. When people have a passion they are most beautiful doing what they love.”
-“I think beauty is being yourself. Feeling comfortable and happy with who you are, and makeup is just the icing on the cake.”
Which one of these quotes is your favorite, or what do you think “Beauty” is? Check out more of our Beauty at All Ages contest at exploremodeling.com!!
And for every valid web comment on this blog only we will give you a Free $5 e.l.f. coupon via email just to say thanks (1 per person, to the first 25 posts only).

Holidays are Sneaking Up Fast
Holidays are Sneaking Up Fast
Thursday, November 05, 2009
Prior to Halloween I was at Target and they had Christmas stuff, yes Christmas stuff! It’s hard to believe that the holidays will be here before we know it. Another thing Target recently started carrying is e.l.f. cosmetics! This value brand is at the same low price points as online without having to pay shipping! I am all about getting quality products at super low prices!
Do you ever find yourself in a pinch for a quick gift for the dance teacher, piano teacher, mailwoman, grab bag, and so on? Why not give them e.l.f. from Target! Stock up on neutral shades of lip gloss, nail polish, eye shadow and mascara, buy a 12 pack of small gift bags for $1.99 and you can have a great gift for under $5! Some of my picks are the Brightening Eye Color in Nouveau Neutrals, Hypershine Gloss in Honey and Coral Nail Polish . I can’t wait to put my bags together for everyone on my list, who doesn’t love some pampering with new make-up. I am also hoping to introduce e.l.f. to some people who may not know about them yet, I’m sure once I do they will love it as much as I do.
Have you tried e.l.f.? What are your favorite shades?

Super Model Secrets
Super Model Secrets

Did you know you can help illuminate puffiness and dark circles by placing a cube of ice on the roof of your mouth with your tongue? Allow it to melt and the cold will penetrate and help to de-puff and lighten the dark circles underneath the eyes. In one of my celebrity facials, I was desperate to make my client look well rested as she had been recovering from a cold. I tried this out of desperation and it worked! Now I freeze either BORBA water or pure Acai juice instead of plain water to also provide a skincare antioxidant kick (with those new well rested eyes!)
