David Babaii

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

Ok so I just discovered an amazing new product line that I am super passionate about. I was flipping through my Marie Claire when I saw a beautiful ad for David Babaii products with Kate Hudson and cute little lion cubs! David Babaii products are all natural, free of sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals and animal products. And of course they don’t test on animals. But the best part is 10% of the proceeds are donated to the WildAid, which is the global wildlife conservation organization to help save endangered animals. I gave these products a try to see if their payoff was as good as their cause and…THEY ARE! David Babaii products range around $14 and are available at most drugstores. So I encourage you to check them out, not only can you help save your hair, but you can save animals too! Do you have any charities or causes you are passionate about? Let’s hear them!

One charity I have been involved with for 6 years is the Penn State Dance Marathon. All proceeds raised are donated to pediatric cancer research and support for families and children diagnosed with cancer. Each year the students of Penn State raise of $5 million dollars for this great cause. For more information visit the website: www.THON.org

I've used these! They're really great -- smell fabulous, and I like the charity angle. :)

Some of my favorite charities that I think people need to check out are To Write Love On Her Arms and Feed Just One! Oh and these products seem like they are very worth the 14 dollars. I think I'll have to check them out sometime!

I love the feeling I get whenever I reward myself AND help a charitable cause at the same time~ I like the idea of all natural shampoo... i'll definitely be on the lookout for this one. The three charities I try to support are Susan G. Komen, March of Dimes, and SPCA =)

My sister is a hair dresser so I have heard of this product one time before. She likes to brag and tell me everything that is damaging my hair. I just stick with the cheap damaging stuff. maybe e.l.f. should come out with a hair product line too. I dont look into charities that much becuase i dont know for sure if they are going to what they are supposed to be going to. I would rather help someone that i see. like if i see someone hungry i would buy them food. Stuff like that.

i always check charity 'watchdogs' before i donate to animal and wounded veteran orgs. i use www.charitynavigator.org, www.bbb.org/charity and charity watch sometimes. i tried to get the percentages between admin and actual charity giving. couldn't find info on any independent watch site. product sounds like some readers have tried it and liked it. if wildaid gets independent verification by watchdogs, they could get more than 10% proceeds if i add them to my list. show me the independent numbers please.

I heard a lot of the controversy surround around this product and Kate Hudson. I excited to participate in the donation efforts associated with my purchase. Thanks for offering this product!

Now this is special! Not only is this a great salon like product for us, but it's also affordable. This is what us women need to see more of, a well known actress giving back to what she believes in and also trusting her reputation for the cause and effect.

100% natural and affordable?! Somebody pinch me! You have no idea how long i have been looking for a product like this. And the fact that part of the proceeds go to charity is the icing on the cake!
