Gold Jewelry

Wednesday, February 25, 2009

Everything in fashion seems to rotate in and out of style.  Well, I hope you held on to your gold jewelry ladies because it is making a huge comeback.  Many celebrities have been spotted sporting gold rings and watches to accessorize their outfits.  Look for oversize watches and chunky rings to add a fashionable bling to your wardrobe.  Check out Timex watches and look at stores like Forever 21 or H&M for some great jewelry pieces!  What do you think, are you a gold or silver girl?

for all my life, ive had bright ornageish reddish hair (gold if I can actually tame it). Because of this, i try to never wear gold jewelry. So I balance it by only wearing silver jewelry. Oh well-I have some cute chunky silver rings that could fit the bill....

I have a question for all those shoppers out there though... some of the silver rings and pieces like that turn my fingers green, even if I've only worn them once. Anyone know where to find good quality silver that isnt extremely expensive?

I'm not one to worry about what actors are wearing or doing. I do my own thing and always have. I like gold the best, but I also like silver. I wear what I feel like each day and match my jewelry to my outfit or mood. I could care less what the lemmings do in Hollywood.

I love Gold and platinum. I could care less what the people in Hollywood are wearing. I think they all look ridiculous all dressing alike and getting the same hairdos. I like being an individual. I won't change what I wear. I will continue to choose between gold or silver when I feel like it.

Gold or silver--depends on mood and what clothing I'm wearing. Sometimes there's a piece of jewelry that I want to wear and will "build" my outfit around that. All fun. And, anyway, whoever gets rid of jewelry? I have pieces of rhinestone jewelry--a lot of brooches that were my grandmother's--that I adore and wear all the time. Glad she didn't get rid of them!

I'm an "everyday" silver girl, but I have noticed that gold is making a big comeback. When I got married in Winter 2007, I had to use a lot of gold because the Church I got married in had all gold decorations, and silver would clash--I had the HARDEST time finding anything! This winter, I started gearing up for holiday parties, and all I COULD find was gold!! I got a great bracelet at Forever 21, and have gotten more compliments on it. No one has to know it was only $8!!!

Although, gold always seems to have that sparkly cuteness about it here and there. So, if your always the one to ponder, keep them both in stock. ;D

Definitely a gold girl. I feel it goes best with my complexion. I'm from Bangladesh and I have medium skin with golden undertones. I feel when I wear gold it makes me look brighter, not whiter more bright. Silver does not have that effect on me. Also, in my country gold is big. Everyone has gold and it's not like a necklace or watch. Have you ever seen an Indian bride in those movies? That is the type of gold jewelry what we have. Anyway my point is I'm a gold girl and always will be, trend or not!
