The Oscars on Sunday night was quite the show! The red carpet fashions never seem to fail, the dazzling long gowns sparkled in the popular shades of ivory, grey, black and red. Some hysterical highlights were Hugh Jackman’s opening dance number spoof of the nominated movies, and Ben Stiller’s impersonation of Joaquin Phoenix. The awkward tension was definitely felt when Jennifer Aniston presented with Brad Pitt and Angelina sitting there in the front row. All in all a captivating show, with Slumdog Millionaire stealing the show with a landslide in wins. What did you think of the Oscars??

As a friend just mentioned to me, the majority of the dresses seem to be inspired by wedding gowns. Now this is not a bad thing but I was curious to not see more bold bright colors when people need something to look at!

I thought Miley Cyrus did real good by choosing that gown, it was a very mature looking gown, not so pre-teen. As for the show, Hugh was a great host, but the little skits were honestly kind of corny. I am very happy for Slumdog, lovedddddd the movie so much. Looking forward to seeing Revolutionary Road, Milk, The Reader, Doubt, etc. So many great movies!

Slum Dog Millionare won everything! It must have been a great movie... I need to rent it. I thought Miley Cyrus' dress was too old for her, Sarah Jessica Parker looked truly amazing, and Natalie Portman looking so young and beautiful in her pink gown. Hugh Jackman was handsome and very funny too! :)

Haha what you said was true, that the fashion never seems to fail (atleast...most of the time) The fashion that shows up on the red carpet is truly breathtaking, truthfully, I think the only reason i watch the Oscars is because of the red carpet :]

Miley Cyrus looked so bad! Why was she even there? Ugh! I am so tired of her. Although Spanish actress penelope cruz (from spain- I'm not ignoran!) looked beautiful in her vintage dress.
