International Women's Day

In 1911 we had our first International Women’s Day so that every year in every country there is a celebration on the same day - a Women's Day – for women to press for their demands. This is our day to celebrate our voice as women; we have come a long way to be recognized as equals and to gain independence! Yay for Women’s Day!

I think it is important to remember the women who made it possible for us to do what we do today. I had actually never heard of Women's Day until just last year, which is so upsetting because as a college sophomore, I would've thought it would be mentioned in one of the many history classes I've taken over the years. Thank you for reminding us of Women's Day, and that it isn't just a single day of the year, but every day!

I am really disappointed. You can do three blogs on Brody Jenner in a week or two. . . but, this is all you can muster for National Women's Day??? I don't usually write negative blogs, but, I think this merits one. I call it constructive critisism. I hope you agree with me. Totally unrelated, but, important, is the fact that the $5 elf coupon code is a great incentive to get someone to leave a blog, but, how many of them actually get used? The coupon is non-stackable, and doesn't even cover shipping. I, personally, do use elf cosmetics whenever possible. I am sure more people would be willing to try them if elf went back to the stackable codes they once used. Thanks!
