I always keep a small pump bottle of cooling face mist in my purse during the summer months. It gives me a nice little pick me up on hot days. :)

For summer, I absolutely need a sweat-resistant blush. I really like the elf facial whips. They also are great for giving a nice dewy highlight to the cheeks. Because my skin is so light, if I don't have blush I look sick (and people will ask me if I am), so I have to have a blush that won't sweat off or wash off with ocean spray.

the mineral veil! it works as a GREAT setting powder and seriously, after 8 hours, my skin doesn't look like my foundation is melting off! Also prevents oil on your face, you get like zero shine that lasts all day. The only downfall is that it does have a slight pink tint, hopefully ELF will consider making a translucent mineral veil!

All the make up with the spf 15 is really helpful to take care of yourself. The bright nail polish is my favorite in the summer you get the chance to express yourself and go crazy!

It also helps if you have at least somewhat of a tan so you don't look completely bleached out by all the white. But don't go overboard and turn yourself orange--that's never attractive.

A must have item would be a bronzer. This is so imprortant because it gives you a healthy glow,yet does not make you look overly tanned. If the bronzer is worn correctly it is very very beautiful and perfect for summer!

The Translucent Matifying Powder (or the Mineral Booster) is also a must-have. It has a multipurpose use that is especially great for summer. It's sheer/translucent quality allows it to be dusted over your makeup and give it staying power (important in summer weather) without looking obvious. It also helps combat shine, and can even be dusted lightly into the roots of your hair to freshen it up when the summer heat makes your scalp more sweaty or oily than usual. If you find that either of these powders are still visible when used on dark hair, use bronzer or another dark powder instead for the same effect.

It's also good to carry some translucent powder to sop up any excess oil that builds up in the roots of your hair. Apply it to your roots, let it sit for a bit, then brush it out. It'll help keep your hair from looking stringy...

It's all about the brushes! I've found that a good set of makeup brushes can give you just the right look no matter what colors or kinds of makeup you are using. The best one for summer has to be a nice large cheeck brush for your bronzer!!!

Another ELF product that deserves to be mentioned on the list is the Pineapple Mango Moisturizing Hand Cream because it smells wonderful and the scent is very summery. It's great to use on dry cuticles if you want to do a DIY manicure or pedicure before you use your favorite ELF nail polish.

For me and the summer months I must have a eye liner, lip liner, and lip gloss. Of course flip flops is a must for the summer. I hardly wear much make-up but do use a mineral powder with spf for an overall facial protection.

I think you are missing the all over color stick. That is the one item I have in my bag during the summer. Everyone is always shocked that I use one stick to get such an amazing look. For 1$ you can do your lips, eyes and face for day or evening and still look gorgeous.
