I have to tell you.  After performing my $2,000.00 HD Diamond Facial on Ashley Greene and having been booked to work on the other cast members, my love for the books, movies and the characters have gone to a whole new level!  Here’s a secret that I tell all my celebrity fans!  Make certain that you buy new brushes every 3 months.  That’s just one of the many reasons why I developed the elf professional brushes, so you can clean them easily before each application so you protect your skin from all the bacteria and aging free radicals.  You can buy the whole complete set for the price of one high end brush (and you can’t tell the difference AT ALL).  So, each one of my celebrities take multiple sets (one for their make-up artist, one for home and one for their travel case).  Then after my prescribed time frame, they get recycled.  Flawless skin with every swirl and tap!  You have to love that!

Is this a joke? If your brushes need to be replaced after just 3 months then you are clearly making a very poor product. Good quality make up brushes are suppose to last years. As a consumer, I'd be insulted if someone tried to sell me a product that would have to be replaced so quickly and I'd assume that the product and brand was awful. Now I've been using ELF's brushes for a few years, my eyeshadow brush is used all the time and it still works as well today as it did 2 years ago so I'm assuming this is a poor attempt to get people to throw out perfectly good products so they'll re-buy and give you more money. I'll share a secret with you: We're not that stupid.

That's the dumbest thing I've heard in quite a while. The reason we buy nice brushes is because they're supposed to be an investment - something that will last a long time, with proper use and care...

Hogwash. There is absolutely nothing to back up the claim that makeup brushes are so riddled with bacteria that they need to be replaced every three months. I have brushes that I've been using for nearly 10 years and they are cleaned regularly. Your hands probably have more bacteria than a clean makeup brush, and the air all around you is carrying free radicals.

I got that you should BUY new brushes every 3 months, not REPLACE them. I've stocked up on the ELF Studio C Brushes since I use them daily and sometimes I dont have much time to wash my brushes and wait for them to dry. So buying a few extra cuts down on the wait time when I have no time. I've splurged on MAC brushes only to return them after buying ELF brushes. The ELF brushes are MUCH cheaper and they do exactly what the MAC brushes do. Plus the ELF brushes dont bleed or shed! Thank you ELF for saving me so much money!
