Rumors are circulating that this relationship is over. Reportedly Tony found texts on Jessica’s phone from her ex John Mayer, Jessica’s fathers involvement in their relationship was just too much to handle and she was ready to wed all of which supposedly pushed Tony to pull the plug on the pair. The breakup was said to have happened the night before Jessica’s 29th  birthday, ouch! What do you think, rumor or reality and if true do you think they will get back together?

Reality check! I think Tony Romo was too much of a normal (although a football player) guy to be hanging around w/ Jessica Simpson. Her whole family is somewhat hectic (esp her dad) and how can a relationship last w/ a family like that? Maybe they will get back together if Tony Romo really REALLY loves her.. but I think he's over the drama.. Nick and Jessica should get back together since they're both single!

I don't think we'll ever know the true story with celebrities, they are just normal people like us and the real answer is probably not as exciting or hyped up more than it should. Perhaps Jessica broke it off because he refused to grow a 5 o'clock shadow like Lachey's?

I think that, whether the rumors are true or not, Jessica needs to take some serious time out to weigh her actions, others' involvment in her personal life, and possibly get some counseling to help her feel secure in making her own decisions concerning what she wants and how to get it. She's spent so much time in the limelight with everyone else telling her what she should be doing that she's never learned to figure out things for herself based on trying to foresee the future outcomes of her actions.

I don't think you can ever really be sure about the Hollywood rumors! I feel bad for celebs. I would hate to be under constant scrutiny and to live my life under a microscope. I think her Dad may be the root of a lot of her issues with men! He cannot seem to keep his distance at least where she is concerned (You don't see this as much with her sister- he seems to leave her alone) He did the same thing with Nick! I think Nick dodged a bullet. From watching the old show, her Dad was so rude and obsessed, and it did not seem Nick enjoyed his time with the Dad, being that the Dad spent a lot of time on his cell phone. When you are with family, that is the time to shut it off. So if the Simpson's grew up with that man as a father, I can imagine the problems a guy would have with Jessica.
