I love the tip about wetting the brush to get more color payoff from the eyeshadow. As a woman of color, I crave intense pigment and great color payoff from all my makeup but I like to work with my budget. e.l.f. helps me with that and that's cool!

Thank you for this week's tip! The most I do for eyeshadow is use a light color on my eyelid (a little past the crease) and a dark shadow over my eyeliner. And I love the Brightening Eye Colors. Thanks again!!

Love it. I totally do the wet brush trick because I can't help blinking when I do eye liner, and always get smudges everywhere. With the wet brush I don't blink, and if I do smudge, it's much easier to correct.

Great tips, but what about starting from a naked face and ending with every step, start to finish. I can't see what colors you are using, how about including all the colors and product types you use so I know what to buy in order to achieve the look you have made. Showing the more glamorous looks that anyone would use to go out on the town or to a big event i.e. shiny and shimmery, black/silver/white look, quick and beautiful.....I would love to learn how to use a lot of your products to get looks like those. How about using this outlet to show us directions on how to use the tube elf offers that applies to cheek, lips, and eyes...I know a lot of people that bought those and can't get the right look with them. This blog wasn't helpful in the sense that I heard we should use lighter colors on top of the eye and darker on the sides, but what colors did you use, they look like their disappeared on her eyes. Give more views.

I love how these colors work for every skin tone. I have incredibly fair skin, and so it is sometimes challenging to find colors that don't overwhelm my face. It's great that the shadows can be used on every skin tone!

i'm glad I watched this clip because I learned something. I am a woman of color and I purchased the eyeshadow quads. I was disappointed that there was not alot of pigment and the colors did really show up on me. I will try wetting the brush to see if I get a better effect. thx

I know it may sound strange mentioning "Christmas" this early in the year, but this product would be a fab stocking stuffer ladies! Last year, I gave a variety of elf products as stocking stuffers or as an "add on" to a package & everyone loved them...catch the hint & start buying now!!

I was so glad to see she used the "Luxe" palette. I bought the same one a couple weeks ago and the dark red shade was confusing me. I wasn't sure where to put it, so I liked seeing the artist applying it on the model. Thanx so much for doing these videos!

I have actually never used eyeshadow before because I am african american and really wasn't sure what colors I could use or would be dark enough to show up. I am so happy they gave that wet applicator tip. I think I'm going to buy that palette to try out as my first eyeshadow YAY!
