This series would be a lot better if you had some budget beauty bloggers showing makeup tips with your products. Derek's blog is great but it's mainly about shopping - not makeup. Tons of YouTubers use your stuff - some should be worth showcasing here. Some black, hispanic and asian bloggers would be great.

Mascara is my favorite make-up product, I definitely think that it gives a different look to your face. Although I enjoyed this video I would've liked to see a comparison video on the elf mascaras.

Thanks for posting this! I am 34yrs old, and on some days I still wonder if I'm doing my mascara right! I do wonder though, Is it better to curl eyelashes Before/After you aply mascara? I have heard BOTH. Sometimes I curl after because it seems to hold better.

Yes, mascara definitely creates a more dramatic eye and creates a more polished look (when applied correctly and in the right amount)! Would love to see more asian, indian, latina models too! Thanks for the video tips! Keep 'em coming.

Thanks for the newest video, this time about mascara. I normally don't use mascara just b/c I have dark lashes and my lashes are kind of short so even lengthening mascaras don't work well for me. But nowadays, I like putting mascara from the tip of my lashes to the middle (not all the way down to the roots) to help make it look like my lashes are longer and to prevent the mascara from smearing (I have oily lids so it'll smear the mascara).

I liked this video alot but i think they should have used a wider variety of models than just caucasian and black, there are alot of other people and it would be interesting to see. That said, it would be very helpful if you didn't know how to put on mascara yet. I wish ELF would carry clear mascara, my lashes are too long allready for black mascara.

I really LOVE these videos although I already knew the tips dealing with mascara. I agree with a previous blogger that you should not only use one african american and caucasian model, but also some models of different races or ethnicities like asians and latinas. I really enjoyed one of you previous videos that talked about using a wet brush to apply eyeshadow, and I found that it really did brighten the pigment of the color and lasted WAY longer. Thanks for the awesome tricks!

Thanks e.l.f. I really enjoy watching all these video tutorials. I learn a lot, especially since I grew up a "tomboy" and only in the past few years have decided to go a little more "girly". I agree with a few other posts, that while it is great to show caucasian & african american models, it would be great to show a little more diversity as well, such as asian and latina women. Each have their own unique beauty.

I guess I've been doing my mascara wrong because i never do that zig zag thing shes talking about I'm going to have to try that. I wish they had explained how to get the bottom lashes because every time I try I end up with mascara under my eyes.
