Should We Really Be Envious?

Sunday, August 30, 2009

Press-on eye shadow? ColorOn’s EyeEnvy appliqué professional eye shadows allow you to pick your perfect eye shadow palette, press on and go. It does sound convenient, but do you think it really works? Is it really as easy as they claim it to be? Natural and smoky sounds cool, but leopard and zebra prints?
Would you be daring and try that?

i think those are so tacky and just plain lazy. if u have enough time to use those then u obviously have enough time to put on some shadow with a brush...god ppl are so lazy now.

I think they're cool. A lot of people don't know how to apply makeup and this would be a good thing for them. Not necessarily zebra stripes unless you're going to a club or a party but other shadows used during the daytime when you're rushed and don't have time. This would be good for working mothers who just don't seem to have enough time in the day to do their makeup the way they wished they could. Make it day time wearable and I think it would fly. :)

if it IS as easy as it looks and looks that good it might be good for special occasions for crazy designs like the one pictured but i doubt it turns out anything like it looks in the picture. infact it doesn't look that good anyway.

I think it's totally unnecessary.... The beauty of shadow comes with the blending, the application and just the skill that it is applied with. I'm going to stick to the old-fashioned way.

This product seems to be a time saver but having smaller eyes, I doubt it would work for everyone. One size fits all can be very troublesome. The little papers are creating more waste as well...

I think these would be great for Halloween but not everyday use. However, Avon came out with this concept about a year or two ago with regular colors. Each had a lid, crease and highlight in perfect complementary shades and they were so easy to use. They made me look like I had professional shadow applied in less than 2 minutes. I would LOVE for ELF to come out with these (in regular shades) as I do not think Avon offers them anymore and they were about $6 each.

If you have ANY sensetivity to ANYTHHING stear clear of this product!!

I have ese and absolutely love them! I have kind of a weird style, so I wear them for events, Halloween, parties, etc, and they are super easy! I always get the cool patterned ones, as I'm relatively okay at doing regular eyeshadow, but these are fantastic, and stay on for a long time. I sprayed some Of Urban Decay's All Nighter Spray to keep it on, but otherwise they're great. I would suggest making sure you do not have any allergies or sensitivities to the chemicals, but I've never had anything happen to me.
