Tuesday, September 15, 2009 Then came two very active step-sons and the birth of my baby boy. Three boys! I looked and felt ridiculous "clicking" around after the boys teetering on heels, especially since I am 5’10”. If I fell, it would be like a tree getting chopped down in the forest…timberrrr! Forget the ambulance for help, call the lumber company. In addition to being tall, I am 36 years old and after years of heels, my feet have earned their stripes. We just can't take it anymore. The search began for a great looking pair of comfortable shoes.
Since fall is nearly upon us I decided to start by looking for new boots. I love boots and I searched high and low (under 3 inches low) for a fantastic looking pair of comfortable boots. Fashion and comfort was a marriage I never thought I would see. That's when I discovered the Tyra Boots, by Dansko. Dansko makes those clogs you see all the nurses and waitresses wearing. I ordered a pair through zappos and it was love at first zip. The Dansko Tyra Boots really are comfortable. They are sleek and the heel is not too bulky or square. Actually this is a 3" heel so I didn't have to sacrifice the height to get a comfortable boot.
If, like me, you are a busy Mom, but still like a great pair of leather boots try these out. They are great all weather boots and in addition to black, come in brown too. Go and rock your comfortable AND fabulous self. With the Dansko Tyra Boot, you’ll feet will thank you and your closet won’t hate you.
