Even though it looks a little strange, it also seems like it would work very well. Seems more comfortable for the baby, too.

This is an interesting idea. But, why would I spend $45 on this when I can buy a bucket for $8???

Doesn't look like much space in there. A $5.00 bucket from the dollar store would do just fine.

OMG- where was this 6 yrs ago when my youngest was born? She HATED bath time. We tried baby tubs, baby holders in the regular tub, and even the kitchen sink--all to no avail. This may have been something that she would have liked!! Oh well, maybe some other mom's prayers have come true- a peaceful bath time for baby.

I like the idea; it looks more ergonomically designed- as though it replicates the womb (it appears that the baby is quite comfortable and can hold itself upright). There's pleanty of room for the parents hands to maneuver for thorough washing. The only drawback I can see is that a smaller baby's face can potentially flop forward into the water...but with the parent being right there it's probably a slim chance. Overall I thing the design is great and a wonderful alternative to uncomfortable traditional options. Thanks for the post, I'll keep it in mind to mention around friends.

I am not so sure about this product. I mean maybe if it was cheaper I would consider it for my baby or tell my friends about it. I mean it does look like a water bucket which I can pick up anywhere for like $5 to $10 bucks. Is there a seat molded in there for thier tush? I would not be rushing to the store for one, sorry! :(

Although it looks like the baby is squeezed into the tub, I guess it goes back to the idea of replicating the womb to keep the baby comfortable. The baby looks so cute.

I love the idea of the baby sitting up so you can more easily get to their back and not have to constantly lift and shift them, however that baby looks like it fills the entire bottom of the tub. There's no room for mommy to get to the feet and legs. It needs to be bigger around at the base.

I think this is a great idea! Wish I would have seen this when my baby was first born. We had to take a bath with him because our tub was so deep, it was hard to bend over. It would be great if you made a couple of sizes since some babies are bigger than others and it could last a little longer. I think this would make a great baby shower gift, and will pass this on to some of my friends.

The baby in the picture looks like he is smooshed into the bucket. Doesn't look too comfortable. Plus, most tubs are inclined since newborns need to keep their head supported. Therefore, you would need the inclined tub first, then this bucket tub. Why buy a second tub when you already have the other one?

I think that anything to help bath time be a little less stressful on both baby and parent is a great idea. With less wiggle room it looks a lot safer too. A few of my friends just had babies, I will pass this along to them :)

I think this is an awesome idea! I felt very fearful and clumsy bathing my first newborn son. I hated giving him sponge baths because he would cry the entire time and I worried that he was too cold. Wish this was around when I was a new mom.

I think this product is kinda of a joke, I mean who needs a spa baby tub when you could use a sink. I just see this product as a waste of money, but I suppose some people may think this product is a heaven sent so they will go out a buy one. As for me, I'm just gonna stick to the sink!

What a WONDERFUL idea! Kudos to whoever thought up this baby tub! I remember when my son was a baby... bathtime was such a hassle! Whether he was bathed in the kitchen sink or in the bathtub, it was always an awkward event. I tried everything on the market at the time, including the old stand-by of holding him up with one hand while [trying] washing him with the other. From using a foam "baby mat" that always ended up soaking up so much water I might as well as just laid him down IN the water to a little plastic "cage"-like thing that had a seat in it, which by the way looked very uncomfortable, and I'm sure it was... everytime he sat in it he slipped around on the seat and it squished his "little boy parts"! I'm sure the mother's of today will love this nifty little bathtub! My sister is having a baby, I think I know what to get her for her baby shower!

lol I think it's cute~! It doesn't look like it gives much room to wash around the body though...maybe a slightly bigger basin? Though I guess you could just make the baby stand. Very nice idea though~! I don't know why I've never seen something like this before.

Hmm... a little bit drastic, but if it works for your baby then why not? I'm a little hesitant about the idea because the baby can hardly move, and the water is up to the baby's neck... but i guess it can be helpful if the parents are having trouble bathing the little one. Kinda weird though... am I the only one who thinks this?

I think this would work well for older babies, but what do you do about newborns? They're too small to fit properly, and they need much more support for their heads than this would allow.

Although a good idea, it seems a bit pricey for a bucket. I actually have photos of myself as a small child playing with my brother in literally, a bucket...looks exactly the same as this product except opaque. Even the description in the header claims it can be mistaken as a trash can.

This would be so great for when I watch my neices and nephew! I love the fact that it's not like other baby bath tubs where if they kick, the water just pours out. It's a great design where the baby is comfortable and not fussy about laying down as many babies are! Great idea!
