To combat the redness/swelling, apply a warm compress for 10 minutes to a larger pimple. It helps to open the pores and unclog.

What an awesome product! I'm definitely buying this. My tips/tricks for concealing zits is putting on a little salicylic acid, letting that dry and then dabbing on foundation (not smearing it on) dabbing pushes the concealer in to help it stay longer.

I use a cream concealer and pat it on with my fingertips to apply. Brushes don't cover well enough, in my opinion. Add a little loose powder to the top of the concealer to have greater staying power.

This is great idea! I did not even though ELF had a product like this. This product solves two issues in one wonderful step. 1) Fixing that horrible zit and 2) covering it up so that it blends in. Regular make up , will just clog and block your pores more just adding to the problem. But the concealer stick fixes everything.

I can't wait to try this product! The best tip I have is to apply a cold compress to take down the swelling and redness, let your skin relax a little and then gently dab some concealer on the blemish. Don't rub, as that will irritate the blemish more. Finish with some translucent powder to cover the shine! :)

Love that it covers and helps with future blemishes at the same time. Am adding this to my wish list :) To conceal I use a green coverup to dull the redness, try not to pick at my face, and dab a bit of concealer and a touch of powder on top to conceal if I'm on the go!

I love this concealer! It's perfect for healing and concealing at home or on the go. After using it a few times, I had to buy a few more. Now, I have three of them - one for my make up desk, one for my school backpack, and one for my weekend purse. Excessive? I think not. To conceal, I use color around the pimple and blend accordingly. Works every time.

This is what I do for 'cysts': 1. Steam face over boiled water. 2. IMMEDIATELY (before the pore(s) closes) do any of the following: Apply Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask, aspirin, Aloe Vera Gel, a strong (tightening) mud pack or hand sanitizer (yes, it works) 3. I would leave the mask on overnight, if not, wash it off after 10-15 minutes. 4. Your problem should have reduced in size and redness.

This sounds awesome, especially because of the Tea Tree oil. That stuff is GREAT for skin conditions of all kinds. I was having a bad skin day myself, not too long ago, and I applied some oil all over my face, and it cleared up very quickly. (It had been a continuing problem for around two weeks, before that, and it took only about three days to heal up.) AWESOME stuff! I'm excited. :3

I try to conceal under the blemish. It hides the shadow that the blemish is casting somewhat. Other times I just conceal the entire spot by patting concealer on in a shade lighter than my foundation. The foundation covers it pretty good.

When you get one of those big, red, sore, distended BLOBS on your face, one way to bring it down is to apply red-relief eye drops. After cleansing and before makeup, dot a spot on and let it set for a few minutes (do your hair, eat your breakfast, whatever). The spot will be less red and less tender, making concealing easier!

I'm a big fan of concealer. It seems to do the trick most of the time. EXCEPT when you have one of those annoying pimples that seems to stand out the MOST when you're trying to conceal it. And I always get that shudder every time I cover them up with thick concealers. How is this going to HELP my pimple? I've always wanted a product that was directed towards concealing pimples. I'm so glad e.l.f. finally came out with this product! It's not only small and convienient, it actually TREATS the little buggers!!! I've been back and forth with this product for a while, but the more I see it, the more I'm liking it! It's going to be on my next order for sure!

I adore salicylic acid, it truly works wonders ! I also have a great tip. If you feel a painful pimple coming on, this fabulous tip is a must ! I once received this trick as a teen, from a friends older sister. To this day I continue to use this genious idea ! "CREST TOOTHPASTE" original formula ! It is a BLUE PASTE (no gel ladies!) which cancels red irritations overnight. Red pimples, blemishes, and discolorations etc...I apply before bed & have awoken to flat, pain free, clearer skin. All you will need is a slight dot of concealer to begin your day. I can alost guarantee you will never have to reaply to the same spot ! That is if you get on it quickly !!:) Good luck Kaytrick
