Since launching our Beauty at All Ages contest with the fabulous exploremodeling.com, we’ve asked you to tell us what beauty means to you. We received tons of amazing responses! Here are just a few beautiful quotes, in response to our e.l.f. beauty at all ages Youtube video, describing what beauty means to them!

I think beauty is being happy and comfortable with yourself even with "flaws". It's so easy to compare yourself with others and find something wrong with yourself or something to be improved, but being truly beautiful is when you can get past all the nonsense. |

I like the last quote, "I think beauty is being yourself. Feeling comfortable and happy with who you are, and makeup is just the icing on the cake." If someone is comfortable with themselves that shines through and it can be very radiant. Makeup enhances that beauty from within. |

I kinda feel like its a hybrid between "true beauty radiates from within..." and "...Feeling confortable and happy with who you are..." For I have noticed people who scowl and glare too much tend to look positively horrid, and those who lack confidence in themselves tend to show that as well - they seem washed out, or faded somehow, its visible, but difficult to pinpoint. |

I know so many beautiful people who are beautiful because of who they are, how they act, and how they treat other people. It goes way beyond the conventional definition of beauty. There is nothing more ugly than a mean spirited person, no matter how they look. |

My mom has always told me that beauty comes from the inside & Ive never really grasped what she meant until I was older. Now I am a true believer in that, however you feel inside it radiates on the outside, consciously & unconsciously. I agree completely with the qoute "A beautiful person is someone who is true to themselves and everyone around them. Being yourself is beautiful." Anyone who is not being true to themselves or other people is hardly beautiful. I love this campaign! |

This one is my most favorite one. I believe it's true, being yourself is beautiful plus being comfortable and happy with who you are is a bonus. Now a days, every girl is worried about being too large and are trying to be too thin. What girls should know is that you can still attract that special someone by being yourself. If they don't like you, that's their loss. People should like you for who you are, not for what you look like. |

I think this is a great contest, because it allows for any regular person to go and be a model, but for the right reason. I am trying for the competition as well and I like that it makes us all feel beatiful no matter what age. |

Everyone has a different image of beauty. We all have some made-up person of beauty, and we want to look like that, but if you do look like what you think you should and someone doesnt like you doesnt mean your not beautiful. I personaly think beauty is around us. The sun, moon, flowers, ect. But people who tried hard to be who they want to be, people fighting togther to reach a goal. That is beauty team work, and everyone body had beauty in them, doing whatever they do. |

For me beauty is more how respectable and gentle you are towards others. A person with too much attitude and rude nature is not liked by many. Having outer beauty with beautiful heart is definetly loved by everyone :) |

I think beauty is something that you're born with. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. God created us all differntly, and we shouldn't have to be embarrased about how we look. When you're beautiful, be proud and confident about who you are and what you look like, I'm Chinese-American, and I'm not ashamed that I look different than a lot of people in Napoleon, Ohio. I'm proud of who I am, and what I look like :) |
