the definition powder was one of the many things in my last order.it is fantastic. it is sooooo sheer. i did not even have to apply fondation. i just lightly put this on my face. it controled iol and it gave me that set look.it blended really well into my eye shadow and it weightless.you can not even tell your wearing anything, your face feels like velvet. another hit by e.l.f. love it....................dawn talley

This product gives a lot of "bang for the buck" and really gives the skin a velvety appearance. I have used it to "set" my foundation/concealer and it really makes the skin look beautiful in pictures. A couple of tips though; Number one, your skin must be well moisturized before you use this powder, as it can make dry skin look dryer. Number two, a little goes a loooonnnnnggggg way; use too much and you risk giving the skin a whitish appearance. I do not know if I would recommend this powder for black or latino skins; it may look a bit chalky. And here is a helpful tip: this powder is great for bridal makeup and is a makeup artist must-have. However, in order to avoid the "white face dark neck" look that happens a lot in pictures when flash is used (this occurs when the flash reflects off the face makeup and gives the face a whiter appearance,) be sure to take a fluffy brush and brush a little bit of the powder on the neck and chest. This way, everything will look nice and even!

I bought this product about a month ago. It goes on really lightly. What I have found is I can layer it around my jawline and chin to help create a lifted look. I also like to use it around my eyes to make them brighter and look less lined.

For years I've been buying into brands like Clinique, Lancome, Nars and even Bare Minerals because I thought you pay for what you get which means paying more for "the good stuff". A co-worker turned me onto e.l.f. and at first I was really skeptical because of the low prices and because there isn't a store that carries the line. As soon as I saw this new product on your website, I immediately ordered 4 of them knowing that it's a matte powder which is hard to find; as most setting powders on the market usually have a shimmer or sparkle finish. I was skeptical of the powder just b/c nothing has ever worked on my skin to keep it from getting shiny within hours. It's been a major problem at photoshoots, club nights, and just day to day. I just returned from Vegas where I tried the powder for the first time - and was very happy with it. Our days lasted til 5-6 am the next day and even with clubbing, Vegas insanity, etc, it worked and lasted the whole day. I definitely recommend it, esp for thos on the verge of giving up on being w/o a shiny face!

I have been wanting to try this product for some time. Because I currently use a similar product by another brand and I can't afford right now to shell out the 35 bucks for it so I gave ELFS a try. I have checked the ingredients and it amazes me how both have exactly the same ingredients and I was paying so much more for it. It works wonders to set a foundation and it does minimize fine lines. I agree w/ Achelle. I have large pores and oily skin too. This Hi-Def powder is a MUST HAVE product by ELF. Also, it gives me a softer look. Unfortunatly, I don't look like a girly, girl so it helps to make me look alot more feminine. Thanks ELF

I'm currently taking photography class in school and its amazing the difference there was between photos before this product and after. I have oily skin and this product gives me a matte look without being a little gray or pink is another products give me. It reduced my pore size.
