So I have been totally loving my F-Factor fiber filled diet and following all food trends on skinnyinthecity.com that I thought I should share some of my favorite fiber foods.  You see fiber foods fill you up faster so you eat less and thus lose weight!  Love it!!  Here’s a list of my fav fiber rich foods:
-Gnu Bars

Avocados, nuts, and healthy cereals are my favorite fiber-rich foods. Dry cereal is one of my favorite snacks. I look forward to learning more about this diet!

I can definitely vouch for the Fiber 1 cereal. All the varieties taste great. Almonds make a great fiber snack as well. But popcorn is my fav for sure :]

I love Oatmeal to go Bars. They have 5g of fiber and 20% of my daily Iron. I eat one every morning with a bottle of Orange Juice. It's a great way to get a healthy breakfast in on the go.

I eat alot of Mexican food so black beans are a must. I also like to sneak beans into the soups that I make for lunch. Definitely helps fill me up.

Apples and strawberries are my favorite snack with fiber to fill me up, and they help with my sweet cravings. However nothing seems to help with the chocolate craving ;-)

My favorite fiber is flax seeds. I grind them up fresh and put them on just about anything. They are heart friendly and are also great for my hot flashes. One of my favorite things to make is my spinach smoothy. Sounds gross but it is actually yummy. Blend fresh pinapple juice with baby spinach leaves and add some ground flax seeds. Blend it up and enjoy.

I love beans because they are cheap, and so good for you! And usually a quick meal or meal addition. Lentils are my fave because i flavor them with onion, garlic powder soem Mrs Dash and paprika, and they are quick and great on salad!

Fiber One bars are terrific. The flavors can't be beat. Try new flavors like Apple Struesel and Oats & Strawberries with Almond. They are must-have accessories for your snack drawer at work. At 140 calories, they won't break your daily calorie bank.

I'm a fan of homeade 5 bean chili, but Health Valley makes a nice high fiber veggie chili, I like Morningstar Farms Chik'n Nuggets and Buffalo Nuggest and petite brussel sprouts - they are a bit sweet!

I really love the FiberOne Chocolate Chip Fiber Bars. You would think that they taste cardboard-y but they're actually really tasty! They have about 9g of fiber. I love having them for breakfast or a snack!

fiber foods do really help people trim down. i eat a lot of granola bars and fruits, they just fill you up fast and keep you full longer than that bag of potato chips. a good thing to add though is water, drink water more than all other kinds of drinks, you'll drop weight like crazy.

Thanks! I already eat a few of these on a regular basis. Now I just need to step up my game and eat way more so that I can start dropping pounds. I absolutely LOVE the Fiber One Bars! It's cool that foods that are so yummy can help you to lose weight too.

I love eating and cooking with nuts -- especially slipping toasted almonds into different dishes. Also beans are a great way to add fiber. I keep chickpeas in stock in my pantry all the time because they go so well with everything and taste awesome.

I've been eating pistachios like crazy lately, and I do appreciate all the fiber! I also am a fan of dried fruits - sweet and chewy - and raw veggies that are really the reason to splurge on dips, like hummus. Yum!

I like apple, almond and avocado. Being on a diet is not all that hard if you educate yourself and learn about food. You won't just loosing weights but will be healthier as well.

Fiber really is one of the best ways to supplement weight loss. I'm working on dropping some pounds and black beans are one of the first things I go for. I also eat TONS of raw broccoli!

I have heard some great things about this diet! Fiber foods really do help you stay full longer, so it makes sense that it works! I like the Fiber Poptarts- they taste the same as regular and Kellogs offers some great high fiber bars!

Eat a small apple before dinner or lunch and you will eat LESS! It really works! I munch on one while I am fixing dinner and by the time we sit down to eat I am already semi-full from the fiber and water that the apple contains. Also, carrots work too, if apples aren't your thing.

I'm also really fond of the Kashi bars... most of them (even the TLC granola bars) are pretty high in fiber, usually 6g or so for 120-180 calories. Plus they are HFC free, artifical stuff free, and taste more "real" than the fiber one bars.

I eat an oatmeal granola with sunflower seeds, almonds, and dried fruit 5 days a week and love how much energy I have for the day! I also eat an apple daily. I make the granola every Sunday and measure it in single servings in ziploc baggies to take on the go for busy mornings.

I try to include some type of fiber in every meal. I recently discovered the benefits of sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes is one of the most nutritious vegetables and one potato that more fiber than a bowl of oatmeal.

I also love the Crystal Light Fiber to go packets. The flavor is raspberry peach and it tastes great. Extra fiber and you're drinking more water. Great way to help take off the weight!

Fiber really is a miraculous thing, and we get so little in our diet, generally. It fills you up faster, keeps you feeling full longer, helps keep your blood sugar steady, helps against insulin resistance, helps remove toxins from the body, etc. So good. And Gnu bars are almost delicious (not as good as raspberries)!

Well turning 45 has made me put on some pounds and a fiber diet is just what I need to help get back on the healthy path. I need every bit of help I can get because after 20 years of being a police officer my die has suffered greatly from you guessed it donut shops and eating fast food so a fiber diet would come in handy.

Mmm...I've been loving almonds and apples lately! Started eating high fiber foods a few months ago and have been feeling great despite my busy schedule. I've been eating "Think Thin" bars from Trader Joe's too, since Fiber One bars have corn syrup (something else I'm trying to avoid). They taste awesome!

We had a nice ham for Sunday dinner. But my favorite part is after the "first meal", simmer the ham bone to make a stock, and use it to cook a big batch of mayacoba beans. Two ingredients. Ham stock + mayacoba beans = Pure High-Fiber Bliss!

A high fiber diet has been such a blessing! It's lowered my blood pressure and brought my chloresterol levels down to such a normal level, that the nurse practitioner asked me how I did it! I love high fiber. Fiber One Honey Cluster Cereal,oatmeal, lots of fruit & Veggies.

Well I find eating the fiber one cereal as a dry snack helps move things along pretty much. Plus I tend to add almonds, pistachios, and apples to just about every meal that I can to get an added dose.

Beware of products that contain artificial sweeteners -- they are not always so obvious. For instance, the "original" Fiber One cereal contains aspartame, the same as NutraSweet or Equal. Look for sugar alcohols (like maltitol, erythritol, etc.), as well - these are broken out under the carbohydrate summary on nutrition info panels. All of these can be upsetting to the digestive tract, and may have other negative effects. I'm definitely exploring the fiber thing. Used to do low carb to help keep my blood sugar stable, but would prefer to do so with plant-based foods. Right now, I'm big on spinach and zucchini!

Trader Joe's has an awesome high fiber cereal! A whopping 9 grams of fiber per 2/3 cup serving. Eat with almond milk and you're good to go, literally! LOL I also love Fiber one cereal. I agree with Caren's comments about Fiber one bars, they contain some not so healthy ingredients.

I love having my fibre one cereal in the morning. Also when I'm cooking or baking, I sprinkle from fibre in the mix. Another thing I do is sprinkle crushed flax seeds. They are high in fibre and great for the heart. It taste great in almost anything and easy to add to a protien shake.

My favorite fiber food of all time - the Apple. Apples are universal and portable. You can quench your sweet tooth with an apple and freshen your breath with an apple. You juggle a few apples and even draw an apple. Apples are cute and fit nicely into your bag or pocket. You can't beat the fiber content of an apple. Very filling, very healthy. I start my day with sliced apples - usually organic Pacific Northwest Fuji apples or Gala. I pour yogurt on top of them and add mango's or berries and sometimes if I'm feeling it, a little granola on top. I love the crunch of an apple, apples make me happy!

I used to be really into eating a healthy diet- almost fanatical- a lot has changed since then, but I am beginning to realize how important it is to keep those habits up. So this has been an inspirational read+ opportunity for me because I love to read so much. I am a firm believer in getting fiber from raw foods like whole grains in bread, bran muffins, nuts, carrots, brocolli, and cauliflower, fruit- apples are my favorite, but almost all of them are helpful fiber sources and of course nutritious wise. Though as with a healthy diet paying attention to portion sizes is important and if you are counting calories, imperative- even healthy foods carry lots of calories. Other good sources of fiber are white or brown rice, popcorn, most cereals, and raisins. My grandma eats prunes and swears by them- if you can stand the taste- well then go for it. Another idea is adding a teaspoon of metamucil in a glass of water at meal time- a friend of mine used to use this method and she says it helps her stay fuller as well. One last natural source of fiber is caffeine- a cup of coffee with each meal is actually good for your health- can help lower risks of diabetes, heart disease, and good for colon health. My husband almost died from colon cancer and so I have become very educated about the importance of a high fiber diet in keeping a healthy colon. Thanks for the opportunity to post my blog.

a while back, i used to put that Fiber Sure powder into EVERYTHING i ate - drank - whatever! You can't taste it when it's mixed into your food/drink, so you're really not putting in a whole lot of pick-and-chose effort to get a fiber-filled diet. my only suggestion is to maybe use a tad less than i did--after a while there it started to upset my stomach [too much fiber!! XD]. other than that, i'd say it's a pretty good product. :]

I buy a large container of low fat vanilla yogurt and a bag of frozen blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries. I spoon some of the yogurt in single serve containers and add some frozen berries. I store in fridge and the berries thaw for my next snack!
