I am obsessing over the latest accessory trend, the messenger bag! The idea of being hands free and not re-adjusting my purse on my shoulder every few seconds sounds ideal! So the hunt is on for the best messenger bag! Here are a few of my favorite finds pictured from left to right!!

I adore messenger bags as well as hobo style bags! It's great to have all that room to carry all the girlie things I love! It HAS to be organizable for me, though. Either that or I'll end up carrying three different makeup bags in it..which works, too. Anybody know where to get a cheaper, but very feminine and stylish, messenger bag? $50 or cheaper? Gotta love budgets lol

I have been using and LOVING Messenger Bags since High School. There is nothing better than carrying all of my Girly stuff in a fashionable, hands-free bag, that not only leaves my hands free to do whatever, but also there is less stress on your shoulders and back because everything is more evenly distributed. Plus, some of the more stylish ones come with little pockets on the side for a water bottle, bungee cords to carry your Yoga mat, and nice padded strap to cushion your shoulder. Currently, I have 9 different ones, and receive compliments all the time. Now, if only I could find a really cute one with little monkeys on it, my collection would be complete... :)

I LOVE this style of bag! There are so many fun and casual styles that you can find for cheap. Another easy bag that is similar to this is a satchel over the shoulder (and they're usually less expensive as well).

I've been rockin' the messenger bag for a while now! I love it - mostly because I don't have to worry about carrying it, or people swiping it. I will definitely be looking for the perfect bag this summer - and the messenger bag might just be it. :)

I too love the functionality of a messenger bag (but then, who wouldn't?). At these prices, though, it's hard to justify several bags -- at least for me! What would be really great, would be a smaller satchel with a long, detachable shoulder strap so it could double as a messenger. Has anyone seen something like that?

I am usually not into messenger bags - but the Melie Bianco one is adorable and hip! It isn't hideous like most messenger bags I've seen and it comes in my favorite color - turquoise! (score!) I carry a TON of stuff in my purse, my boyfriend constantly makes fun of me, and it seems like the messenger bags make my shoulder hurt so I'm constantly switching sides. I may have to give this bag a try though, at least it comes with the other straps so I can carry it if I choose.

I love love love messenger bags. Not only am I a fashionista but I'm a Mom-therefore it's hard to find a bag that can be multi-functional. I hated having to adjust my purse all the time AND deal with lugging around all the baby's things. I love that I can throw a chic messenger bag on and have all the things I need while still looking good and put together.

I found the Oioi brand that I am in LOVE with. It look like a purse, but has all the hidden diaper bag qualities, for us modern mommies! And it comes in at $160. YAY!

I never used to think of myself as a messenger bag person, at all, but I absolutely love the look of the Melie Bianco bag from Target. Looks wise, I think it is much more appealing than the ones that cost hundreds of dollars. So I gotta say..what a steal! I know what my next purchase is going to be! :)

I love messenger bags that has several options on how to wear it. Marc by Marc Jacobs makes some great ones! I love the Classic Hillier Hobo and the Classic Q Groovee satchel. I also like their new Sasha satchels, either in the Classic or Turnlock lines.

I love Messenger Bags; they can be unfeminine but I have a Messenger purse in lime green. I love it. I get many compliments on it. It's actually good for balance and I don't have to worry if someone takes it from me because it's wrapped around my body.

I wanna say that these messenger bags are so good when you have children and have to carry diaper bags and strollers and all that good stuff. these meseenger bags dont get in the way unlike regular purses you have to always adjust the strap to your shoulder and it never ends. i love my messenger bag.

My favorite summer bag is a tote-like the beach ones. Its big and roomy and easy to fill and empty for going out. I also like messenger bags but more for weekdays. Thanks for sharing those cute bags!

The grey bag is fabulous and affordable. I used to hate the longer strap on bags, but recently i have really liked to cross them over my body when I shop. It helps me use my arms better!

I think this bag is a great choice for the summer because is more casual. It would be very practical for me because I work in marketing and promotion and always carry a lot of stuff around. This bag would also be helpful for a mom on the go as your hands will be free. I think that its good to go with aneutral color because thats the trend now but I would give it a twist and get it in a bright color like a turquoise or coral. I consider this a trendy bag so I wouldnt invest more than $50 on it. Im going to check them out online.

A couple of you commented on how difficult it is to buy purses where you live- have you tried Ebay? They have a fantastic selection and a lot of discounted designer brands. I just got a super cute Guess purse for a fraction of the price I would have to pay at the mall.
