It's funny because I will do this sometimes, but it happens automatically when I'm out surfing, that's probably why surfers always seem to have glowing skin! I also like to mix 1/4 c sugar with 1/4 c olive oil or lotion and rub into my skin and rinse. It moisturizes and exfoliates!!

After I finish Exfoliating my skin feels great and i FEEL great. With being so hot and humidity I do it 3 time a week is very important

I mix a tablespoon of sugar in with enough olive oil to make it a paste and rub that all over my face four times a week. It makes for a great lip scrub too!

I exfoliate twice a week. I started at eleven years old learning from Barbizon Modeling School. I also gave myself homemade facials with camolmille tea mixed with steaming water then would exfoliate with brown sugar and then ending with a good moisturizer. I grew up during my teen years in California and have stayed with my weekly beauty routine to this day. Of course now a days there are new and wonderful products and places one can go to for better treatments and products. I have passed on my beauty routine to my daughter and she now has her weekly routine. I believe that one should start early to take care and protect your face and skin.

i use extra virgin olive oil mixed with white and brown sugar. it works wonders on the body and face and doesnt require any extra moisturizers when youre done!

I actually use the exfoliating scrub from Ahava Cosmetics- it works wonders. It is a little pricy though, so you could probably find a cheaper priced one at Bath and Body Works (and they smell great!)

I exfoliate twice a day-- be sure to use a good mosturizer afterwards! I also take baths and add epson salt to exfoliate my whole body once a week! Love it!

Flight attendant tip: empty a single serving sugar packet into your hands, squeeze the juice from a slice of lemon on to them, and rub your hands together until the sugar is completely melted. Rinse your hands off with a can of sparkling water. I always have soft and pretty hands after working those boring red-eye flights ;)

I love to exfoliate using Lemon Juice and Sugar. You can use either white or brown sugar and about 1/2 of a cup of lemon juice. Buy some fresh lemons at your local grocery store and squeeze the juice out of them. Then soak a cotton face pad in the lemon juice and sprinkle a little sugar on top of that. The use it as a scrub all over your face. It takes all the dead cells off and clears up my acne!! Hope you try this out!

I use baking soda on a toothbrush to make my lips soft and smooth, and on my legs and feet I use sugar and olive oil! It's a bit slippery but the combination of the two gets off the dead skin and moisturizes so well!

i LUV to exfoliate with gramefruit and sugar! yup, grapefruit and sugar. i put some sugar in a half of grapefruit and rub it aroung. the sugar exfoliates and the grapefriut adds a tingly clean sensatin to my skin. plus you can use it on your face!!!

I love exfoliating my body with sugar. I take a good handful of regular household sugar you use in your coffee, and mix it in a container with some drops of olive oil and go to town! Sometimes I also mix in some ground coffee beans for that added kick to my skin. The coffee beans help stimulate your blood cells so it's good for cellulite and dimples in your skin. I do this twice or 3 times a week, keep a jar of sugar by my tub, with a little bottle of olive oil. I do it after a hot shower, pat myself dry then exfoliate, then rinse off with cool water. Trust me, your skin will start to show the difference! P.S. Don't use this on your face!! Ouch..

I exfoliate with plain white sugar while in the shower. Its natural, inexpensive, it smells sweet, and it melts so you don't risk over scrubbing your skin. You can even use it to gently scrub your face. For a more moisturizing body scrub, add about a tablespoon of olive oil. :) Try this trick, you'll love it and your skin will thank you this summer!

Using baking soda is a gentle and effective way to exfoliate your skin. Use about a tablespoon size amt. of baking soda.Add water and stir until you have a paste somewhat a little less thicker than toothpaste.Then rub on with your fingertips in a circular pattern.Then gently rinse off and pat face with washrag!

I work in a hospital. The sugar packets that come on the meal trays for our patients sometimes get wet from the steam generated by hot food. Instead of tossing them, I now use them as a free exfoliant-although the only time I really think about it is when I color my hair and want to make sure the dye doesn't go on my neckline or hairline on the back of my neck.
