Evan Rachel Wood, Gucci's new Scent Campaign Girl

Friday, July 16, 2010

23 year old actress Evan Rachel Wood is Gucci’s new Scent Campaign Girl. ‘I chose Evan Rachel Woos as she has very strong character” said Frida Giannini, Gucci creative director “She’s young, but rising and [an] influential figure.  I didn’t want to offer this project to someone overexposed or too well known.  Instead I wanted a fresh individual that would coincide with the image of the project.”  You can also check Rachel out on HBO’s True Blood series!

I have to admit that I have no idea who this actress is, but she is gorgeous. I like her natural look - she glows! I'll be interested to see how right Gucci is about her being a rising star...though I guess if she's a campaign face for Gucci, she must be somebody!

I think her natural beauty would be great for this ad! However, I've got to admit as well, I have no clue who she is. And I watch True Blood! . . . who on earth does she play as? I just don't recognize her!

I really love how Gucci is choosing someone who really isn't already in the spotlight. It gives rising actors/actresses a chance to shine and Evan Rachel Wood has such a gorgeous unique look she will be great in the campaigns.

I agree with BunnyJOD, I don't recognize her, but that's even better! But I've only seen the show a few times. Love that she's not already well known. Can't wait for my first order in the mail! I've already sent all my friends over to the website :)

She is beautiful. I love True Blood as do so many others so she is the perfect choice. Plus it is also great that you are helping someone who isn't already rolling in money and major fame. E.L.F. is my fave & now I think this is great!

I can see her being a Gucci spokesperson. She's chic looking and stylish without looking like she's trying too hard which is what SOME of their line is about

It's great to see Evan back to her natural self. She looked tragic back when she was dating Manson. If it wasn't for my being a Marilyn Manson fan, I would not know who she was either!

I think she is my favorite actress on True Blood so I am glad to see that she is branching out. Gucci fragrance could use the "youth injection" she will bring to the brand.
