Got Milk?

Monday, November 08, 2010

I’m sure you are familiar with the “Got Milk” advertisements with celebrities sporting their milk mustaches.  Well, add Lauren Conrad to the list as the newest Got Milk starlet.  No longer a Hills reality star, Lauren is set to star in her own reality show on MTV focusing on her professional involvement in fashion and shot more in a documentary style.  On a side note, I would love to see a Got Soy Milk ad for all Vegans and lactose intolerance individuals.  Wouldn’t you?

{Achelle is the Creative Director, Brand Ambassador and official Makeup Artist for e.l.f. cosmetics}

And for every valid web comment on this blog only we will give you a Free $5 e.l.f. coupon via email just to say thanks (1 per person, to the first 25 posts only).

I really like her outfit in the ad, but why is the milk flying out of her glass?

I'm really glad to see Lauren getting the respect she deserves now that she's all grown up! I'm with you! A GotMilk (soy/almond/rice) would be a great campaign for LI & Vegs (I'm both).

I would love to see got soy or even got organic. I don't drink milk but my little girl loves organic milk. Love the Ad and I love Lauren Conrad.

It is good to see reality stars and others promote children to drink more milk but I agree it would be refreshing to see a variation of the advert which speaks to those which speaks to Vegan or lactose intolerant individuals

I totally agree since i am Lactose and sad part is most place dont offer or sell soy milk and if they do like Starbucks they charge. Well people in this world are not perfect and we all have some special needs even if its comes to milk or soy

I soooooooo agree with the "Got Soy" or "Got Organic". Ideally, I would like to see stars like Selena Gomez or Justin Beiber in "BOP" magazine etc.. doing these ads. My daughter rarely drinks milk (it's like pulling teeth) but perhaps if she saw her idol Selena drinking it...she just might have a change of heart. <3

She looks great in this ad. It would be interesting to see a Got Soy Milk ad. I think it would increase sells and curiosity of soy milk. But, personally, I'm not a fan of the stuff, except maybe in my tea from Starbucks....yummy!

I would love, love, love to see a Got Soy Milk? advertisement! There are so many benefits to drinking soy milk and while I am not lactose intolerant or a vegan, I am a huge cheerleader for soy milk! Soy milk can be just as sexy as milk.

love love love this ad!! Shows great fashion. but i agree, why is the milk flying out of her glass...maybe to grab your attention? My daugther loves milk as do I! But it would be great to get more celebrities as role models to young kids drinking milk and also soy!! What a great idea...got soy? My sister would love this because she cant drink regular milk either. love this!

So happy to see that she is getting a new series that hopefully will be a lot more mature and not included so much drama. I also think doing a non-lactose "Got Milk" camping would be wonderful. I wonder how many people out there don't realize that there are other dairy options besides what comes from a cow.

I thinkit is a great outfit. They probably just wanted to do something different with the ad. The milk flying does a great job of showing movement.

Thanks! I love milk, but I try to make sure I get it from humane dairies. The labels can be confusing. The Humane Society website explains what they mean: www.hsus.org/farm/resources/pubs/meat_and_dairy_labels.html

I dont see why they dont? I personally LOVE the Chocolate Silk. But I have to admit, this photo is a bit weird... I havent seen a "got milk" photo in a while.. I just thought they went with another marketing technique.. lol But the way to start with beautiful outside is to start from the inside. :)

Got SOy Milk would actually be a great idea. I have family who are lactose intolerant and soy milk isn't that bad. Although, you wouldnever know unless you try it. Their are also many great flavors. Maybe one day that will happen. I can't wait to see that day. and Lauren looks fabulous in that dress, she is so beautiful. Gotta love her and MILK! LOL.

I just love the dress that she's wearing, I wonder who designed it...But I especially love the milk flying out of the glass, because I always think that in one more step she's have stepped into it, which is sad because it would ruin the dress and I love Lauren. But I can help that i like those thirty seconds from disaster freeze frames :)

I would love to see a ad for vegans because they are not completely represented in most milk ads. I love almond milk this is also a great substitute for regular milk.

It is quite nice that Got Milk? has spruced up it ad a bit. I'm a milk drinker but my sister is Lactose Intolerant and a girl I know drinks only Soy so creating various milk ads for all people who drink other kinds of milk is quite appropriate and considerate.

I would like to see an ad for Got Soymilk too! I think that would be a great idea and they should use a celebrity like Pam Anderson or another animal friendly celeb to promote it. I think it would be just as popular as the anti-fur ads from PeTA. Soymilk is great but I looove almond milk! Everyone should try it!
