Girls Send this to your Boyfriends!

Girls – send this to your boyfriends!

Moisturize your hands!
You should apply a hand cream or lotion to the palms and backs of your hands at least twice a day. Don’t think that all hand creams are greasy like what your mom uses! Try a hand cream with a non-greasy feel, or something based on dimethicone. This will keep your hands looking and feeling young.
Take care of your cuticles!
Cuticles are those pale slivers of skin that get really dry at the bases of your nails. They have a tendency to get really thick or really dry. Have your girlfriend, mom, or even your nail lady trim these off at least once a month or apply a cuticle softener to keep them from getting out of control.
Llavar sus manos!
Most people, especially guys don’t clean their hands enough – especially in flu season! If you don’t wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 15 seconds, then try a hand sanitizer. Apply a little to your hands before you: eat, touch your face, or do anything that would require clean hands. Oh, and get a scented hand sanitizer, because ladies love it when you smell nice!
Wear an SPF!
Most guys only wear an spf if they’re going to the beach, but the truth is that you should wear an SPF daily – and this includes your hands. You shouldn’t leave the house without at LEAST an spf 15 on your hands. After all, you don’t want your steering hand to look tanner than your shifting hand.
Mend your wounds!
Guy’s hands get cut, scraped, and gouged all the time. It’s party of being a guy. But don’t let those nasty wounds stick around on your hands! Apply a triple antibiotic ointment (like Neosporin) to every hand wound as soon as you can (this will help heal and disinfect the wound), then cover it with your favorite type of bandaid. I prefer Superman bandaids.
This will cut normal healing time in half and will leave you with hands that are ready for a night out.

I've heard it's bad to trim your cuticles because it helps prevent against bacteria. Is this true? Is there a certain amount of cuticle that should be trimmed?

I put on spf 15 or 20 on my face everyday and the way I apply it is with my hands. Never thought of wearing it on the backs of my hands and this would take 2 secs while I am doing my daily morning routine.Great Heads Up. Thanks

i'm pretty lucky - my guy has a job working on watches, so he's forever getting nicks and cuts. after the 4th or so time one got infected, he started listening. here's a suggestion, those who want their guys to use lotion - find NON-SCENTED lotions. many guys reject lotion because it "smells girly". while i think that's silly [flowers are NOT the same as girls] i take it into account. a non-scented lotion can be just the trick!

Definitely important! I bought my boyfriend a nice little "Men's manicure" kit. It was cute teaching him how to use everything. He has a very physically intense job and he uses his hands alot. He's been amazed at the effects of a good moisturizer.

I think men should take care of their hands and nails just as much as us women. by having a manicure, it can deter you from nail infection and sickness. Dirt always seems to be under the nail, even when to just washed them.

YES! My boyfriend's hands can be pretty sandy at times and its not pretty! I try handing him my lotions all the time but he says "noo im gonna smell like a girl!" but we recently purchased an aveeno moisturizing lotion and yes he'll use it but I constantly have to be reminding him. Now the cuticles is a different story, he doesn't like me even talking about that to him so I'm going to send the above info to him so he can see that he needs to take care of that. Thanks ! :)
