Butt Pimples

Monday, January 24, 2011

Nobody likes pimples, especially if they are on your booty.  The reason you may see a blemish now and again is because of sweat buildup clogging the pores.  To avoid having the occasional breakout here’s some helpful tips:

-Wear breathable cotton undies

-Lather the backside with a gentle antibacterial body wash and frequently exfoliate to remove dead skin

-Try topically applying a benzoyl-peroxide gel or glycolic-acid formula to help dry out the pimple

If the pimples keep coming back you may want to visit your dermatologist.  How do you stay pimple butt free??

This is a good topic during the resort and summer-prep season because it's not nice to start the healing process after these butt blemishes occur. If you're going on vacation, just make sure you wash regularly even if you don't "get ready to be seen" regularly. A vacation and sunny summer should be fun, not butt blemish time!

These are great tips! I always make sure to wash my bottom in the shower and only rarely notice one of these annoying blemishes. I find that using a bath pouf and unscented body wash really helps stave off pimples anywhere on the body, not just on the booty. :)

I've never had a pimple on my butt, but in the winter when my skin is extremely dry, my back occasionally gets a few pimples. (1-2) So I moisturize more in that area than usual.

No one wants to talk about acne anywhere- let alone on your backside. However it is a fact of life, no matter how gorgeous and well groomed you are! A shower with warm (never hot!) water and a touch of acne remover overnight will have you butt-zit free by morning. : )

I DO!! I take 1 day a week to exfoliate, and put every kind of blemish product I have on my behind.

If I feel a "bimple" coming on I usually scrub the area with a mixture of tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, green tea and crushed steel oats it not only stops the breakout in it's track but also leaves my skin really soft. If my skin feels dry afterward I apply aloe Vera gel.

Butt pimples are not very nice. Thy can also appear on in thighs as well. If not cleansed and/or cared for properly then can become infected and Turn into an abscess. Ouch! So be careful not to squeeze or be too abrasive with the site...just wash with warm water and a noncomedogenic soap or body wash. I do agree that drying it out with oatmeal and tea tree could work as well. Good Luck!

Changing your diet to include more foods like fatty fish---such as tuna, mackerel or salmon-and olive oil can also help acne, since these foods are natural inflammation fighters.

Butt dimples? Wooo that's kind of gross. To best avoid is by washing your bottom regularly when you shower and maybe use some medication if it's severe. I'm not really sure or i don't really know much about the topic of butt acne but Mark COsmetics has a product called BACNE and I've heard that it heals butt pimples as well as breakouts on your back. Here is the link to their website if your interested: http://shop.meetmark.com/shop/product.aspx?pf_id=39312&from=search&find_spec=bacne&camp=201103&dir_delivery=1&rep_delivery=1

It is like a pimple on your face or back except it's on your butt and you will know it is there because sometimes it starts to hurt-like when a spot on your face is sore for no reason but a pimple is brewing beneath the surface! These were great tips and also a dermatologist can recommend different cleansing pledgets for bikini line shaving bumps and butt bumps!! Hey we are all human!

I get what are called Staph infections, they start out looking like a zit forming, but are so much deeper and painful and leave horrid scars. I try my best to prevent them by using a soap recommended by my doctor. Its a pink liquid that surgeons use to wash up before surgery. I purchased mine at Walgreens near the first aid supplies. I can't read the label on the bottle because of keeping it in the shower, but it is a miracle worker!

A great treatment for any pimple on the body (as long as it is not too close to your eye) is to mix loose goody powder (sold in a small packet for headaches) with honey to make a gritty paste and apply it to the pimple. I have sensitive skin and this treatment does not bother me and works effectively for me. Good luck!
