I use concealer on my lips before applying red lipstick so it wont bleed, and I top it off by lightly dusting translucent powder on my lips for long lasting wear.

I find the best exfoliant is either used coffee grounds and or sugar mixed with a little olive oil. Gets your skin super smooth. Also for rough lips, use your tooth brush to brush of dead skin and leave your lips kissable. also when applying make up, always start with your eyes and blush and foundation last. Eye shadow tends to land on your cheek, this way you won't have to redo your foundation after your shadow

Beauty Tip: Before applying any of your make up it's good to Moisturize your face especially those with dry skin. I would recommend using E.L.F's studio tinted moisturizer SPF 20. This will not only give you a cover up but will also leave you skin nice and soft. For those that also do not like using much foundation this is a perfect product. Remember ladies don't forget to Moisturize

For acne prone faces, when you use E.L.F.'s mineral blemish kit it can also double as a gentle nighttime or daytime mask just add a little water to the powder to form a paste like cream them apply on your worse spots or even all over, wash it off in the morning or after doing things around the house. This helped my skin calm down a lot. Then during the day out I use it just like its supposed to be used just dab some on blemish spots under my mineral foundation and skin looks great!

1. Blush as a lipstain: Put chapstick on your lips, then pick a blush (preferably matte) and apply it over your lips. You can use your fingers or blush. The chapstick helps to keep your lips moisturized and get rid of any powdery feeling on your lips. It works great as a lipstain and lasts for hours! 2. Take a red lipstick and use it as a concealer to hide dark undereye circles!

For those with oily skin like me: After I moisturize, I apply a thin layer of milk of magnesia, let it dry, prime my face, then I put whatever I'm wearing, foundation, just powder, etc. Kinda weird at first, but it really helps control shine through the day. Since I began doing this, I haven't used my blotting sheets. :)

I keep the shade of nail polish by my bed. When my nails are starting to look bad, I paint a coat on and try to sleep like Dracula for as long as I can. It usually works perfectly!

This skin care tip has done wonders for my skin,I had sun damage and it has really minimized it! my skin is now, smoother, clearer, with less fine lines, and it has stopped my breakouts!!: - - -Lemon and sugar face Scrub- - - You'll need: 1/2 a lemon or lemon juice (you can use the concentrate kind) a round cotton pad some sugar! Now what to do with that: Pour some lemon juice on your cotton pad Dip it on the sugar and in circular motions, scrub away for about 2 minutes! then rinse! How often?? if you have oily or combination skin: 2-3 times a week If you have normal, sensitive or dry: 1-2 times a week and separate the days. and a great natural sweet moisturizer: A drop of honey diluted in a teaspoon of water!!

To really make eyeshadow pop, using a brush and your favorite color, dampen the brush with water, then pick up the eyecolor and apply to lids. The water makes the color really vibrant and saturated. You can also use a small eyeliner brush with water and use that instead of pencil or liquid liner. Your eyes will really stand out!

For longer and thicker eyelashes and softer lips use vaseline every night before going to bed.. you can apply it with your finger or with a Q-tip. All you do is just take a little and rub onto your lips or lashline.. And in the morning you can just rinse with water! You can also use vaseline as a lip glass/balm throughout the day!

When apply a medium to full foundation it's best to be applied with a stippling brush or foudation brush, Blend in as well as you can. Than take the e.l.f make up sponge and stipple it across your face. This removes the unwanted unnatural texture brushes create. Than apply pressed powder in a circle motion going down your face .

1. For best makeup application and lengthy stay, cleanse face and use a moisturizer before applying any makeup. Use an eye primer if using eyeshadow. 2. When trying not to get eyeshadow on cheeks or past eyes, you can put a small bit of pressed powder around your eyes then put a small peice of scotch tape over. After applying eyeshadow, carefully, very carefully, remove the tape (the powder makes it less adhesive) so now there is magically no unwanted eyeshadow smudges!

My tip is to be sure to always apply your foundation before applying concealer. This makes it much easier not to overdo it and avoid the "white raccoon eye" effect, and helps you to use less product. It can help you see better exactly where the concealer is needed.

To make eyes brighter, continue your eyeshadow to the area between your eye and your nose. DO not go to far down, and be sure to use lighter colors... for example- light grey for smokey eyes.

My beauty tip for flawless skin: Always, always, moisturize your face before applying foundation. Let it dry, and then apply Elf's mineral face primer. After that, you can either use liquid or powder foundation. And only after you are done with the foundation, apply the concealer. I found out that this is the best way to cover up all of the flaws and imperfections. Finish the look with Elf's high definition finishing powder <3

Papaya mixed with plain yogurt into a paste makes a great exfoliating mask for all skin types! ;) Also you can use an egg white mask for a quick fix for diminishing the appearance of pores and achieving glowing skin. Apply it and leave it on for 15-30 mins and wash off with cold water.

Minimize Blemishes---When you have a blemish to contend with, put a cotton swab soaked in clarifying eye drops in the freezer for a half hour and then hold it on the blemish (donít push) for about a minute to reduce the redness. Wait for it the dry and then pat on a small amount of concealer starting at the outside edge of the blemish.

I hate the way powder blush feels when put over liquid foundation, it's sticky, it sweats, and it fades, so here's my solution. put a tiny amount of lotion on your hand, then scrape a little of your favorite blush onto it, or you can put a little of whatever your wearing on your lips in there. mix this together and rub it onto your face until it is completely absorbed, focus on the apples of the cheeks and the cheekbones. this stays forever and is always made custom. enjoy!!

Beauty Tips : 1) Apply your foundation over your eyebrows so you can draw in eyebrows if you want a dramatic change to your eyebrows. 2) Out of makeup remover? No problem! Use babywipes, a cheap alternate to makeup wipes. 3) Look sunkissed fast & easy. Apply a bronzer to the apple of your cheeks and lightly on your nose bridge. Don't apply too much, or you're look fake! Use ELF's Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in sunkissed if you're fair, Warm Tan if you're golden, & Matte Bronze if you're dark. 3)Don't like bronzers? Use highlighters! Highlighting makes your face structures stand out! Apply some bronzer to your cheekbone, to make it look defined and pop! 4)In a rush? Use a cream blush as lipstick and as blush! Or vice versa. 5) Make your own tinted lip balm by mixing some powder blush/eyeshadow with lip balm. I recommend using ones in a tin. 6) Apply white eyeliner in the inner corners of your eyes to make your eyes look instantly bright after a sleepless night. 7) Look at your veins in your arms. If they're blue-ish, it means you're cool toned, if they look more green, you're warm toned! 8) In the morning when you wake up, wash your face with cold water rather than hot/warm water! Cold water makes you look awake! 9) Right aftering shower, put on moisturizer. Your pores are open after you're showering from the hot/warm water. 10) Use two cucumbers over your eyes to brighten your eyes and reduce puffiness. 11) Use eye drops to reduce redness from acne! Squirt a drop on, and you're saved. 12) Use olive oil to remove makeup, it's great for your skin too. 13) Use toothpaste to reduce redness from a pimple. Gently dap some on. Remember to rinse it off! 14) Don't apply too much eye serum on under your eyes. Too much leads to puffy eyes & little bumps appearing under your eyes.

When you don't have any eyelid primer on hand, a good trick is to use chapstick on your eyelids before applying eyeshadow; my personal favorite is blistex lip medex. It makes the eyeshadow stick and I find that my eye makeup lasts throughout the entire day.

I find its easy to apply anything with moisturized skin, especially on your face. Any product is good, but ELF's tinted moisturizer and mineral blemish kit. The apply you foundation, consoler, and blush. Next, I suggest eyes apply primer (Elf's mineral primer) and next all your eyeshadows in the color/tone you want. Make sure not to over do it, and remember to be yourself. Of course the lips after! A nice lip balm would do and of course ELF's lipstick will never let you down. But, remember to find your shade that best fits you. Hope this help ladies!

Ok so i guess I can blame genetics for my big open pores. So before I do my make-up I prep my face like this: On a clean- washed face take an ice cube and rub your face a good 3-5 mins, let the water air dry. This simple trick minimizes the pores and leaves the skin fresh. Then apply a moisturizer. I like to use elf mineral face primer. I've recommended this to alot of my older friends and they lover it. It really reduces the appearance of open pores.

Make-up has a great finish on great skin. I've had so many problems with acne and acne scars. A simple trick I learned was apple cider vinegar. For the past 3 weeks i've been using it religiously. SInce i cant stand the smell, i mixed it in some water. So in any container mix half part apple cider vinegar and half part water, take a cotton ball and apply only to the affected area. I saw a significant change in my acne. Hope it works for u..

my best beauty tip would be for lips. if you want a soft, smooth, kissable lips take a clean cloth and a warm/hot water, and a lib balm/lip moisturizer of your choice. apply the lip balm/lip moisturizer on your lips then dampen the cloth on the water then make sure it's not too hot because your going to let it cool down on your lips and then rub it gently, after you've done that apply again the lip balm/lip moisturizer and then you can now apply your favorite lip gloss or lipstick..now your lips looks soft, smooth and kissable. ^.^

My best beauty tip isn't for your face.. Your Hair!! It should leave your hair silkier, smoother, and softer! (: All you need is 1/2 of an avacado, a teaspoon of olive oil, and egg white. What you do is take the skin off the avacado and moosh it into a little bowl until it is kind of a paste, then add the olive oil and stir. *This part can be tricky -->* Use only the egg white. Don't buy egg white if you want better results take an egg crack it into two without spilling the yolk. Alternate pouring the yolk into the egg shells until all the egg white is in the bowl and all thats left is the shells and yolk. Discard. Stir and with dry or damp hair take small sections and smooth the paste over it. Wait 20-30 minutes and rinse. Follow with Shampoo and Conditioner. Style or Dry. Your hair should be silky, smooth, and soft after using this mask!!

I love to use exfoliators and masks to reduce pore size and rejuvinate the skin. Crack an egg a mix the whites until they're frothy, then apply to the skin around the nose and cheekbones to tighten the pores. For a gorgeous, suble yet sophisticated red lip, apply a light pink/honey toned lipstick first, then the red over it. Blot the red lipstick slightly then apply caramel colored gloss to tone down the intentisty of the red and give a soophisticated effect! For gorgeous, natural glowy skin, use a tinted mouisturizer for light coverage and apply concealer to problem areas and use a thinner, smoother concealer under the eyes. Thicker ones are used for blemishes. Set it lightly with loose translucent powder, then apply a crea, blush to the apples of your cheeks and a luminescent highlighter (LOVE the shimmering facial whip!) for dewy, glowy skin without looking cakey! To pull of the perfect natural look, lightly line the upper lashline and upper inner lashline with a brown pencil liner then apply one coat of mascara. Use a light was of a natural looking mineral shadow for a natural look with a little shimmer to brighten the eyes. Don't forget the inner corners of your eyes and the browbone! For the lips, use a tinted lipbalm or natural pink lipstick, blotted slightly, and a clear or sheer pink gloss over it for the perfect natural beauty look!

I have found that taking the mineral infused face primer and mixing it with the all over color sticks gives you the ability to create many different levels of coverage, you can get next to nothing-like a tinted moistuizer without that strange feel (for skin that isnt misbehaving) and full on coverage (for under your eyes and bad blemishes) with just two products... SCORE!

I absolutely love this treatment. It is cheap, lasts long, and has amazing results. Drum roll~ It's apple cider vinegar. Yup, just a bottle of it and you are set for a year or more with flawless skin. After washing your face, just dip a q-tip or a sponge into a small container filled with Apple Cider vinegar (and if it is too strong, dilute with a bit of water) and apply it all over your face or just where you are prone to acne. This also works on acne that has already shown up. It does sting and has a bit of a smell, but it really isn't that bad. After fifteen minutes or so, you can wash your face with some warm water and then continue on with the rest of your face routine. Immediate results. As for how long you keep it, it varies. I've read to keep it no more than 15 minutes, but I keep mine for an hour. Either way, it's a miracle worker and cheap. So there's my beauty tip! :D

I think that E.L.F should send out little samples to the people that make frequent purchases or large purchases. I always think that, thats an attention getter. My beauty tips are: applying eyelid primer under the lower lash line keeps eyeliner from running also while you wash your hair you should lean down and pull your hair all toward the front and shampoo, condition, and rinse like this helps give natural volume to your hair.

My favorite beauty tip is using organic virgin coconut oil in my hair. It comes in a jar, and it's the consistancy of wax, so you need to warm it up in your hands, then slather it in your hair! I usually glob a ton in my hair at night, put my hair in a bun, then wash it out in the morning, and my hair is soooo smooth and shiny! You can also use a tiny bit to control flyaways or dry ends. Or you can even use it as a body moisturizer for your dry winter skin. I'm telling you, this stuff is magic.

When applying mascara, I put on one coat, let it dry. Then on just the tips of my lashes, I blink in the wand a few times. Adds a ton of length! Also, for applying lotion to your body apply right after coming out of the shower when your a little damp. Your skin will absorb the lotion better!

Always fill in your brows! They can really enhance your look and make it much cleaner. If you don't have a brow kit, then use a matte eyeshadow!

If you nail polish is getting clumpy and sticky, just add a couple of drops of nail polish remover and roll in your hands to blend!

To keep your lipstick lasting all day, after applying one coat, gently press a tissue up to your lips and pat a matte powder on the tissue were your lips are! Remove the tissue and apply a second coat!

This isn't exactly a beauty tip but I think that it's very helpful in the sense that it gives you more time for your beauty regimine. I like to get my backpack, tote, and/or work bag ready the night before. I also like to pick out an outfit the night before. That way you give yourself optimal time to do your hair and makeup. Mornings can sometimes be hectic whether you have kids, wake up late, or are just feeling stressed out. This helps to keep you cool, calm and organized.

My best tips are wear sunscreen on face and hands everyday. Exfoliate at night regularly but not harshly. Hold your head up, relax your shoulders, enter with a smile and be proud of who you are.

For dry flaky skin, I use an extra moisturizer and cream/liquid foundation rather than a powder finish using a stipple brush!

when conceling dark circles under your eyes always put on like a triangle. Hilighting your brows put a very light eyeshadow shade on your brow bone. when applying foundation always start from the center then outward.

Tip #1: Aloe is really good for your skin. When I get a cut & I don't want it to leave a scar or I just want to have softer skin, I just grab a part of an aloe plant and cut it in half. I spread it all over my face and give the cuts a little more attention. I wait until the aloe layer dries on my face ( approximately 15 - 20 minutes ) and wash my face. My face feels refreshed and my face is less oily !
