I would love it if the cream eyeshadow formula could be changed to one that dries to a powder so that it is less crease prone.

I would love to have more products for acne, e.g. face wash, toner, and oil-free lotions. Even though I'm in my early 20s I still break out periodically, and by opening up the line this way more teenagers would definitely want to shop here!

I would love to see a more lightweight mascara with a mousse-like consistency. I have really thin lashes and the current formula is too heavy. It ends up dragging down my lashes and giving me the spidery look.

Bright colors. Really bright, bold, saturated colors. I love elf's eyeshadows and lipsticks, but a lot of them fall in the same palette of colors and none of them are really bright or bold (excluding some of the ones in the large collection sets). Bright colors for eyes, lips, and heck, why not face? would be perfect. I'd never buy from anywhere else ever again. <3

I would like more natural and organic products in all categories. Perhaps an organic matte bronzer with a red and brown undertone because it looks more natural. Pressed mineral eyeshadows instead of the loose mineral ones which are not portable and messy. Also, more of the Studio Eyeshadow Singles in more Mattes and shimmers since they are a favorite of mine!

I would put that in my bag. The one I have is so expensive and the elf mini kit doesn't fit in my bag. It could be flatter and more compact.

My suggestion to E.l.f is to give customers another option other than returning the money to our credit accounts when an item is out of stock. In my last purchase, I did not receive a lip gloss I ordered but the money was returned. Since it took 6 days to process and ship out my order, in this time I could have been emailed and asked to choose another product that is in stock to replace the out of stock one rather than to return the money to me. I purchase from Canada, and choose a specific amount of products that I feel will make up for the expensive cost of shipment, and it is now holding me back from making more purchases, because I don't want to have less products than what is worth the cost of shipment.

You should make a salve. I used to have something called "rosebud salve" but stopped buying it because it's so expensive. I used it for my lips and my cuticles. There are many other uses for salves as well. And they're popular too despite the cost. Please make a version that's cheaper than the original!

I believe that eld needs to make more cream eyeliners in a wider variety of colors, such as bright colors for summer, like what coastal scents have in their gel liners section. Their gel liners are $6.95 so if elf had some that were more comparable then I know a lot of people will buy these instead. More pastel colors for nail polish would be awesome. In the dollar line blushes, I believe that if there were more colors, I would totally buy them. Bright lipsticks for the dollar line would be great, because the ones now are darker then I personally like. Also, it would be cool in the studio eyeshadows has brighter colors. More matte options for eyeshadows and blushes. Also, if elf had eye pencils that had a creamy consistency, like the nyx jumbo eye pencils, or eyeshadow cream bases in little jars kind of like mac paint pots would be totally awesome. Something I think would be helpful, is if a shade is matte, elf could post matte beside the color so that way people would know before they order it. And finally, the main thing I wish elf would work on is having a way bigger color variety for the elf elements eyeshadows, I absolutely love these eyeshadows I just wish there was more colors. I love elf and I think that it is a great company with very affordable makeup and more! I'm looking forward to new items from elf!

I really enjoy elf and have turned many of my friends onto elf, but a huge problem with elf (i am sure many of you would agree) is the colors of the swatches on the site. Before you get any more products you should get more accurate photos of your products. When you decide to come up with new products i think an eyeliner designed for your waterline, like a blue or a black, would be great. Kind of like the ones from higher end companies but of course at elfs amazingly low prices. Also, a gloss stick would be a HUGE seller. Similar to ones from a company whos names rhymes with Shmobbi Shrown. These are lipsticks with the sheer wash of color and consistency of a gloss. Shadesticks would be nice, similar to NYX's. Those would fly off the shelves because everybody loves those!! Please take these thoughts into consideration. (:

PLEASE create new shades of powder/foundation/concealer for people with cool undertones! I would love to use your face products but unfortunately they all have warm undertones and come out way too yellow/orangey for me. I have pink/blue undertones and am very pale, and elf powder and foundation makes me look like I have a fake orangey tan :( I have heard read several reviews that indicate that other people are having this issue too. It would be great if you could introduce a cool-undertone line!

More cream eyeshadow colours in the studio line, more lip conditioning colours with spf 15 in the studio line, grape, grapefruit, orange, lemon smelling lotions and body mists, more colour selection for the Essential blushes, creamier eyeliners and lip liners in the Essential line (what is selling now they're pull on the eyes and lips and are uncomfortable), more shades in the loose powder with spf 45; the one shade is too orangy for fair skin people and make it lightweight; its still heavy especially for the summer.

How about a foundation and powder in one compact? Eyeliner and mascara in one tube, like you do the double mascara now? I second the saturated colors. I'd love some lip colors that aren't muted. More blue tones. It might be my monitor but most of the shades seem to fall into the brown tones and I need blues.

I think there needs to be a way to compare shades of foundations and concealers to other brands. There should also be a coordination/recommendation tool to help when purchasing concealer, or going from liquid to powder, essentials to studio, etc, so that you can match the shades better.

Eyeshadow singles, duos or quads that offer BRIGHT red, orange and yellow. It looks like those are available in the 100 palette, but I already bought the 32 palette, so I'm not planning on getting the 100. (I fist saw the 100 when it was $10, then it was $15 for a minute, so I bought the 32 instead. Then it immediately went back down to $10. SOOOO annoyed!) But, yeah a highlighter yellow, citrus orange and a fire engine red. Also, I love cream foundation. I bought the cover sticks when my Estee Lauder Foundation stick finally ran out (*sniff*), but it was too thick/dry and just looked orange. Now, of course I don't expect it to be like my Lauder, but it would be nice if it was creamier, more blendable, and came in a more neutral clay-like shade.

I love Elf, but the regular pressed eyeshadow is too light and doesn't show up on me, so I would love to see something similar so Nyx's Milk shadestick to give that white base on my eyelid to make elf's colors pop more. I would also LOVE to see the mineral eyeshadows with a lid like Bare Mineral's new inner sifter lid, it slides open to reveal the holes, and then slides shut so there is no mess. That would be lovely!!

I would like to see more color selections for e.l.f. Essentials Lipstick and Lipliner. I am a big fan of this company in general and love darker lip colors. The only lipstick and lipliner colors I use are Posh and Bitter. I would like to use more colors, but do not like the other selections. Personally, I would want to see deep reds and berry shades as I use these shades on a daily basis. I do not want to have to resort to buying lipstick and lipliner shades from other brands just because e.l.f. has yet to include more variety to the Essentials line. Unfortunately, I do find myself using other brands that I am not very fond of because they do not share the same ethical values that the e.l.f. cosmetics company has partnering with PETA and being vegan friendly. I only buy from these questionable brands because of the affordable price on my very limited budget.

First off, I love elf. I think that it would be a great idea to create a face line of cleansers. You could even have differeent types of toners, face washes, eye creams, face creams, zit fighters, ect. and not just for different skin types but also different ages. You all always have the best products and even better prices so I bet you could create a line better than proative and it be even less expensive. Love elf and everyone who works for it! Thanks soooooo much for what you do!

A lot of my friends suffer from facial redness, including me due to my skin condition called keratosis polaris. I wish elf made a cream concealer line, including the color green. There are a ton of department store ones, but limited "drugstore" green concealers. I personally also prefer it in a pot versus a stick. One other thing, I request that a white foundation/tinted moisturizer be made. A lot of people buy foundations and after using them realize that they are too dark-like me because I am extremely pale. Selling a white foundation/tuned moisturizer would allow people to lighten up their foundation, whether it be elf or another company. These products I mention a lot of people want, but sadly don't have access to. I appreciate your consideration of my ideas and your time. :)

I definitely would love more colors in the mineral shadows, foundations, and blushes. ESPECIALLY SOME NEW FORMULATIONS FOR FAIR PEOPLE. (Perhaps in the tinted moisturizer/foundations?) :D A one dollar nude lipstick would be awesome as well. Also, more makeup for oily/sensitive/acne prone skin. (Tinted moisturizer/foundation???) :D That would be lovely.

Hi... I think overall e.l.f. does a do a good job, what I'd like to see: a) Improve the smell of the daily brush cleaner b) less chalky texture in products overall c) a true marker style lipstain - that has staying power - ala Urban Decay brand (in marker form), or the other Marker version of stains that are popular right now. (No roller ball and no wand applicator versions. Marker is best.)

I think e.l.f should make a shimmery eyeshadow primer and a matter one similar to UD sin and eden primer. UD original primers don't work for me and I ONLY use my eyelid primer. I'd love for e.l.f to make primers like this. Also create some palettes similar to UD Naked palette or the Too Faced Neutral and Natural eye palette!

While I love the shimmer and sparkle eyeshadows, it would be nice to have palletes with more subtle colors. I know ELF sells their matte eyeshadows individually, however, it would be nice to find matte eyeshadow palette. I look forward to buying more products soon! Keep up the great work guys! :-)

More individual matte eyeshadows. It would be great to get singles for the compact. Better descriptions of the colors would be helpful as the colors on moniters appear different. Descriptors like matte, shimmer, sparkle would be helpful when selecting shadows, lip color, and blush. Or perhaps a bar scale from matte to high shine with an arrow to indicate where the product falls.

Please do something about the glue that comes with your fake eyelashes. If you take the time to look on all the pages you'll see that is the most common complaint about them. Either make the glue work or perhaps remove the glue altogether and just sell the fake lashes. We all love your fake lashes though! Its just annoying when you try to put them on and the glue either comes out clumpy, doesn't hold, there isn't enough, or worse all of the above. Wont keep me from throwing money at you guys lol but it would make myself and many others SUPER happy.

I would love to see some skin care products - like vitamin C serum or exfoliator. Another thing that would be nice is an eyelash conditioner or primer. I've had so much trouble with flakey mascara that I've given up on it. Studio quality eyeshadow trio would be good - neutral (bone (not sand dollar) for the brow, wild wheat for the crease, and something tan for the lid) and *not* shimmery. I don't want to look like the glitter fairy visited me every day.

-Glitters -an all over body glitter, some funky glitter nail polish, and glitter for the eyes(white, gold, black, silver...) -Body sprays -Larger size in the mineral foundation and make an intense coverage one -Color kits for each skin tone. Put together eye shadows, lip colors and blushes that go well with pale, medium, olive.etc skin tones...you could do a day and night it. -Moisturizer -Lip scrub -Accesories-hair clips, earrings, bracelets.etc(you could even do a spin off company called H.S.K.T-Head, Shoulders,Knees, and Toes ha ha and sell clothing too) -Andriod/iPhone app -If you sold your products at Walmart you'd make a killing.

Wow, I just finished reading all these comments lol and I have alot to say. This is an old article; comments date back to 2009. I was surprised to learn of some websites I haven't heard of, so thanks e.l.f. and others who mentioned other designer-sale sites. The ones I frequent, daily, including Ideely.com and GiltGroup.com are: BeyondTheRack.com; 6 P.M..com (spelling?); Modinique.com (check for spelling please); Rownine.com. Off the top of my head, I can't recall more; however, I do know there are more. If anyone wants to, email me at ArleeNA86.com and I can probably give you others. Some of the sites, if not all of the ones I listed, give you a cash gift for everyone you refer. Anyways, thanks for the info and Happy Shopping everyone! By the way, does anyone know why the designer shoe shoppes NEVER have size 5?? I know many of the stores that 6 P.M. features do; however, many don't. We petite people really lose out on a lot of good stuff! Again, Happy Shopping...ahhh Spring is in the air...

...ooops, getting to the original question, as far as e.l.f. goes, I find some of their products I like and some I don't. Forever (well, being 60 years old FEELS like I've been around forever) I have shopped at mid to high end stores for facial treatments. I have discovered things like Avon's Anew Lines are work much better for me than say, like, Dr. Murad's stuff or Laroche-Posay items. Because of current cash-flow issues, I'm finding Olay is just ok but it works for me. As far as makeup goes, initially, I disliked e.l.f.'s eye shadows because, while I applied shadow to my lids, it ended up on my cheeks; it just didn't stay put or last long. I'm finding their mineral shadows have an improved affect; I no longer have purple or brown powder specks along my cheekbones. I love their eyelid primer and am anxiously awaiting the face primer. Being 60, I'm looking for sheer but with minimal sparkles for my lids & under the brow. Suggestions? Ok, I won't go on and on anymore (for now) but thanks everyone! Hope I haven't bored you all to uh drink(!??!)

I would loe to hae a huge thing of the translucent matifying powder, a compressed one. i have gotten three of them and it seems such a waste to have such little poweder and so much plastic, it doesnt even need a sponge to apply (i use a brush) but there is half of the container devoted to it. i would like more environmentally aware packaging and portions. as well as bigger make up primer portions and blush. also they seem to crack pertty easily, usually they break before i can use all the makeup. also maybe some wider varieties of concealer and foundations and tinted sunscreen. thanks, love the products and the prices!

Even though there already lots of colors. But there are some missing in my opinion. - More manicure and pedicure products (filers, cuticle wonds, etc.) - Travle size brushes. - last but not least. The e.l.f elements collection. - great idea but not anough chioces! more eyeshadows please!!! and if you can have bigger cases for costumers to have the option build their own quad shadow palets! of blush palets would be awesone too! But got to say your pretty awesome!

I would love to see a larger range of colors in the face makeup category. As much as I like the products and want to use them on myself, I can't and have to buy from MAC all my foundations, concealers, and powders, because that is the ONE brand that has colors close to my alpine snowy-white skin. Even MAC's nw15 is a little too dark, but so far it's the closest. If e.l.f. would make several paler shades, I would definitely buy them and highly recommend them to my cosmetology friends and clients.

Also I am like medium dark skin tones ad the all over cover sticks skips my tone it would really help me to have a color thats darker than spice but lighter than toffee like the maybelline age rewind foundation in 340 Tan.. Listed below are some things that I would love ELF to sell so I can invest in. *Pencil Brush *A bolder Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder (I am an African American woman that have more of a medium dark complexion and your current kit does not show on my skin even after packing it on. I had to resort to mixing the bronzer with my brow powder and my blush with a bright red eye shadow so it may show on my face) *More different bolder and more pigmented eye shadows *Possibly a tropical, shimmer or metallic color palettes or quads *More Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil *More skin care products

I would love to see an E.L.F. brand magnetized palette (i.e. Z-palette, UNNI palettes) to hold depotted eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers etc.. I currently use the custom compact by removing the tray, gluing down the metal sheet under it and attaching strips of magnet paper to my eyeshadows but this compact is quite small and only fits a few of them. It would be great to see a larger version of this to hold more products:)
