Alpine Strawberry

Crushed alpine strawberries and baking soda helps remove stains from and whiten teeth. Leaves from the alpine strawberry plant contain large amounts of vitamin C; adding them to herbal teas for flavor makes them more palatable. Juice from the fruits also gets used to lighten or bleach age or liver spots on the skin.

That sounds like a great idea! Would "regular" strawberries work as well?

I love the sound of this idea!! I would like to try this tip out too, I guess Ill have to look into where I can find alpine strawberry leaves...maybe bring some of my girlfriends over and we can give it a shot together, and all come up with pearlier whites!! If this guy helped found ELF then he definitely knows a thing or two about bringing beauty to a more manageable place for the everyday gal. I love ELF cosmetics, and no one can believe when I tell them they cost $1-$3, it blows their minds! I wear their eyeshadows with the primer underneath, it comes out the EXACT same color as the palette shows, and everyone swears Im wearing MAC. Booya baby! I saved a bunch of money and look hot! <3 Thanks ELF!

Very cool idea. I am always trying out home beauty remedies and often find that they work better then ones you can spend a fortune on in the department stores. My favorite for my face that I do twice a week is mix a tablespoon of buckwheat honey with a tablespoon of ground coffee and apply it to the face as a mask. Leave it on about a half hour and rinse of with very warm water. You will be amazed at how soft the skin feels and how much of a natural glow it has!

I am most definitely going to try this! I actually have added baking soda to my toothpaste before and I did notice my teeth whiten a little bit, so I am extremely sure this will work!Who doesn't want a whiter prettier smile? I know I do, Thanks for the tip! :)

That's crazy. I've been using teen whitening gel. I don't like it very much. It kind of burns and you have to leave it in your mouth or five minutes for any results. I didn't think that strawberries of any sort would help that. Do you mix the strawberries and baking soda? or is it just either one?
