The Earth needs some love!  April 22nd is Earth Day, so let’s share ideas on how to reduce your carbon footprint.  It’s great to feel good about doing something good for the earth…but it doesn’t hurt to get rewarded for it either.  So bring your Travel Mug into Starbucks and get a free coffee on Friday April 22nd!!  Any other green rewards you want to share?

That's awesome that Starbucks is offering free coffee on earth day. I know a few of the local gas stations are offering the same deal, so that's a plus!

I read online that Origins is doing a trade-in tomorrow where if you bring an empty cleanser bottle (any brand) they'll give you a free full size cleanser =] All of their products are cruelty free too =]

Sounds good, too bad Starbucks isn't closer to my home. I don't know about any other green rewards but, in my attempt to be more green I try to remember every night to unplug things that aren't being used.

The Whole Foods by my house is giving away a free reusable tote today if you bring in 10 plastic grocery bags to recycle. I don't know if other locations have this promotion going on, but you can check online! I think Target stores nationwide are also giving away free reusable totes with any purchase today (or a $10 purchase - I forget which) while supplies last.

I don't think there is a time limit on waiting for a marriage proposal. Not always are two people at the same place at the same time so my only advice is to be open and discuss the future. This might help in clearing things out. If he's not there yet then give him some time and set a date, say a year later, to discuss it again. I'm not saying give him an ultimatum and demand that he better ask you by then but rather to let him know where you stand. You could find out that he wants the exact same thing and didn't make any moves because he thought you were happy with things as they are.

This year I decided to trying something new! I found that it is much easier and can be done on any day, not just Earth Day! I 'Carpooled'. My fellow classmate lives on the way to our school, so I decided to go ahead and pick him up, so he wouldn't have to drive - it was fun and efficient! :))
