Mother's Day

Monday, April 25, 2011

Mother’s day is May 8th so don’t forget to tell that special person in your life how much you appreciate them.  I’m always looking for great affordable gifts to give and think the Zoko Quick Pop Maker is the perfect gift for mom and at just $50 a great value!  This handy speedy popsicle maker is the ideal item for summer, you easily create your own popsicles that freeze within minutes, no more waiting for hours for that yummy treat!  Did I mention it has a drip guard, mess free desert for hot summer nights, perfection!  I love that you can create different custom designs and healthy treats in a jiff for any occasion!  What gifts are you eyeing this Mother’s day?

P.S. I love you Mom, Happy Mother's Day!!!

Those are so neat. I saw them at William Sonoma last summer. I'm sure your mom will love it. My mom loves stuff to decorate her garden/back yard/front yard with so I am thinking about getting her this Three-Tier Bird Feeder from Bed Bath and Beyond.

My mom is forever a tomboy - I like to get her a gift card to Home Depot so she can pick whatever she wants! But for my mother-in-law, we search for a new romantic movie on DVD and a manicure gift certificate or massage.

My mother insists on getting manis/pedis each year with my sister and I for some girl bonding time, and then we head out to either lunch or dinner. We still get her a present though. Last year we gave her this turquoise Juicy Couture clutch she has been eying. This year, she still has not decided. However, I recently introduced her to ELF cosmetics and she is as smitten as I am with the brand. My mom loves Juicy Coture, so I'll probably pick up a new track suit for her!

That's a pretty nifty gift, however, my mom isn't into such things. I think I would go out and buy this for myself. :) For my mom, I love making her family photo calendars and sending her on a day for pampering. :) Every mom is different, give what makes her happy! :D

That's a pretty cool gift idea. My mom's been wanting to get some lip glosses and an assortment of nail polishes so I got her a great assortment of makeup goodies, from E.L.F. of course. As for me I would be happy with a gift card....can never go wrong with that!

I love mothers day because it's a time where the mother's are rewarded. On children's birthdays, the mother is never really the main star for their sufferings and selflessness. I am just a student, and while I don't have enogh money to splurge for my mom, I'll be the best daughter on that day, make her a card, and just be her lol girl and have some heart to heart mother daughter time.

I love mothers day because my mom is always working so hard, and this gives them a day to be rewarded for everything they do. My mom prefers spending quality time with us rather than getting gifts, so for this year I decided to take her for a manicure and out for lunch after. And I'll propably still get her something to wrap up and surprise her with, like makeup and bath stuff :P Love you mom <3 :)

Seeing how I'm a mom of 2, the ice cream pop maker would be nice for younger kids but let's say your mom has adult children?(like us) I try to think as a mom what I would like and go from there. ie: something like a spa treatment or a dinner gift card for her and my dad.. If you want a DIY gift, try making a dinner, I have done this with my dad.. I have him take her out for a few hours(shopping,a movie) and when they get home I have her fav. Dish all set out on the table ready to eat with a nice mothers day card:c)

Cute cute cute! Honestly, my mom is going through chemo right now, so a day of me going over and cleaning her entire house and planting some flowers for her is the plan. I think she would love the relaxation!

i miss my mom alot cause she lives in a different state, so i was thinking about getting her a locket that will have my baby picture inside. food in general is always a great thing to give my mom, but she also loves making things, for some reason she doesnt have a kitchen mixer... that also sounds promising! :)

I love this idea brings me way back when mom couldn't afford the iceman this would be the best for us now. One thing to share with mom now and not have to worry about what flavor either. we can choose whatever we want. Also we are both od enough jello shots with this for moms next big party. What a great idea to who thought of it this way.

I love this! I recently bought the old ice cube trays for my little one. He loves to fill it up with his favorite juice, but doesn't understand that he can't eat them right after. This Popsicle maker looks amazing, though I don't believe I would for out 50$ for it. My homemade ice trays are doing just fine.
