Melting Makeup

As the temperature rises makeup tends to want to melt away. No need to fret, here are some helpful tips to keeping your making lasting through the hot summer days.

-use face primer! The silica base helps to absorb sweat and oil (try e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer, $6)

-if you use foundation make sure to make it oil free and set in with a powder (try e.l.f. Studio Flawless Finish Foundation, $6)

-switch from cream blushes, bronzers and eyeshadows to powder (try e.l.f. Mineral products, $3-$5)

I'm no makeup artist but I've been using these tricks for years and they really do work! Don't forge to also stock up on the e.l.f. blotting sheets and HD powder. That stuff keeps my makeup looking flawless in the heat like it's no one's business! I think it's because there is silica in the HD Powder too. LOVE IT and HAPPY SUMMER! :)
