Fashion for NOW!

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

Hello, my name is Brittany and I'm addicted to fashion and beauty.

(You at home: Hi, Brittany)

While I wish I was a secret heiress with a never-ending supply of Benjamin Franklins, I'm unfortunately not! In my free time I spend my days scouring my favorite discount shopping sites and skipping form store to store looking for the next best deal! I don't, however, tend to admit this in public. Just because I only paid $20 for something doesn't mean that others can't imagine that I paid $300!

I've found some really great deals on some of the HOTTEST trends right now! Check them out!

One of the big trends for fall and winter is the crew neck sweater! While this basic staple should be easy to find, I had the hardest time finding one that I liked! I spotted this bright Tibi one while on facebook one day, but at $230 it was WAY out of my price range!

Fortunately, I found this crew neck sweater from Forever 21 that was only $19.80 and totally perfect for brunching with the girls or a very romantic/cheesy ice skating date that I have planned for my boyfriend in November. A fun look to try with this sweater would be to revive the color blocking trend that we've seen all summer and fall, but instead of blocking on the bottom, block on your face. Pair with our Essential Lipstick in Fearless, a wavy 'do and some dark denim skinnies and you have the perfect outfit!

Cable Knit Sweater

Another trend big for fall and winter is the Leopard Print Loafer. This classic shoe is perfect for work, but the edgy print gives it the street cred for play! This Prada beauty is a mind BANK blowing, $790!

I can't sell any organs because needles make me faint so I'll opt out for these:

Leopard Print Loafers

Every holiday season you need a LBD! Obviously this holiday season is no different!

While lace has been a big hit since the Royal Wedding, this trend will definitely be carrying into winter. Perfect for a Holiday work party or a formal dinner party with your in-laws (or future in-laws) a lace number will convey class and elegance! This Camilla and Marc number is $690.

While that would totally deminish your own Holiday gift giving budget, this dress from Asos, will not!

Lace Dress with Scalloped Neck

Another option for LBDs is to go with a more playful, sheer look! While perusing Saks last week on my lunch break I discovered this Theory dress, but at $795 it was definitely stay at Saks!

Rory Beca designed a holiday line for Forever 21 and this LBD is perfect for any holiday party and it's only $27.80!! STEAL!!

Heart Print Dress

What do the elf-ettes think!? Do the looks that are less match up?!

xoxo,

I love finding the bargains and to be able to brag to my friends how much less I spent than their name brand designer stuff I always have so much more money to spend on stuff like Elf makeup. Small pleasures that make me giggle all day : )

OMG! Totally in love with that Asos dress! I want it in every color, but the cobalt is particularly nice. Although how can you pass up a lace LBD!? Oh but the red and cream just scream holidays! Oh Decisions!
