Awesome Nail Tip!

Monday, July 16, 2012

We stumbled upon the OH SO PRETTY the DIARIES blog by Samantha and Casey on Pinterest and we were totally inspired by their genius nail design idea!

For those of us who want to come up with a cool funky design and practice first or even for those of us who can't paint with our left or right hands- this tip is for you!

1. Apply your design to a zip lock bag and let each layer dry in between application.

2. Once the deign is fully dried, peel it off gently and apply to your nail the same way you would a nail decal.

3. Press the design onto your nails and file off any excess polish from your design.

4. Set it with a top coat and you're good to go!

This is pretty clever! However, I don't think I'd have the patience to do it. And my right hand would look a mess because I don't think I'd be able to apply them with my left hand! LOL!!!

I have done this before as well, a good tip is to use paper hole punchers in neat little shapes!

I saw this on Pinterest the other day! So cool. It's the same concept as those stick on nail polish strips, but waaaayyy cheaper. Especially if you use ELF :)

That is a genius idea! I am terrible at painting my nails and I always get it everywhere so this will make my nails look so much better and easier to do! :)

This works well, especially if you keep the design thin. My obsession right now is galaxy nails. My nails look lie the milky way.

Me and my sister love doing this! It works great for small designs. I love doing stars! Be careful when you do this though- make sure you don't make them too thick or they'll look funny on your nail!

This a fantastic idea!! Even can be used if you aren't sure if a polish color looks good on you. You can try it on with out using remover if you don't like it! Slip your finger in the bag & paint! Love those plastic bags!!
