The Beauty of Cream Products

Wednesday, November 07, 2012

As we enter the winter months, nothing screams uncomfortable like DRY SKIN!! Aside from exfoliating and moisturizer, why not give our skin some extra loving with cream beauty products! Using cream products not only helps skin stay hydrated throughout the day, but also gives skin that luminous glow we long to achieve when the sun has left us. Check out these brand new products:

Daily Moisture Stick: Use this throughout the day to rehydrate skin, under or over makeup. It's light weight and oil free and makes skin feel super refreshed!

Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream- One of our favorite beauty products just got even better. We created our Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in a cream version! Get that summer glow all year round with this new cream compact.

Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick- This highly pigmented lip gloss stick is perfect for on the go beauty. Add color to your lips without having them feel dried out. It's the prefect gloss/balm/lipstick combo.

Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick- This all new product is best used with an Eyelid Primer. It comes in the shape of a crayon, making application easier than ever for a cream formula eyeshadow.

What's your favorite cream product staple?

I haven't tried any of the cream products listed. The only one I've tried is the cream eyeliner, which I must say I love. I'm scared to try the cream blush/bronzing cream. I must watch some more tutorials on how to use it effectively. Love your products!

During the winter, I always keep my skin really moisturized so that it never gets really dried out and rough. I also use a facial scrub to scrub away all the dry skin from my face, as well as my lips, to prevent them from getting chapped throughout the winter

My skin secrets for the winter is to stay moisturized and always carry a lip balm. A winter look I love is dark berry lips with light makeup, Gorgeous! xo Natalie

I like the ELF eyelid primer for the price and what it does - it keeps in the moisture around my delicate eyelids and holds my eye makeup in place!

For me keeping my skin and lips hydrated when the seasons get colder is all about using my lip balm daily and a tinted moisturizer or cream before putting any other face products on.

This is one of the first years my face has started getting dry from lack of moisture! Not fun, although I do enjoy not having an oily face anymore. My savior lately has been the daily moisture stick. It doesn't stink and is oil-free, which is a huge bonus! Try it today, your face will thank you.

I use the jumbo lip gloss stick all day!! I take it with me wherever I go. I have it in "summer nights". I'm thinking about getting the moisture stick because it's easy to take anywhere. When my skin gets dry I sometimes use you lotion wipes. They add great moisture and a fantastic scent.

I actually just ordered the moisture stick a couple days ago but during the winter I like to moisturize my skin A LOT because my skin gets very dry!.but I use straight pure olive oil to stay moisturized it works Just as good as baby oil and that helps alot

For winter, I always make sure I have lip balm and a mini lotion on hand to hydrate my lips and skin. I also love using elfs cream blush and bronzed to moisturize my face and keep my makeup lasting longer!

The tinted moisturizer is great, not heavy but provides coverage. Doesn't dry out the skin

I hear ya! As I get older, I realize cream-based products are more ideal for my now drying skin (boohoohoo). Good thing ELF offers a wide selection at a low price! Thanks ELF!

I would love to try the daily moisture stick! I get really dry skin in the winter and this would really help! My lips are the worst :( They are always so dry and crack sometimes. The Lip gloss stick would be perfect!

Definitely need to moisturize your skin! I love tinted moisturizer for the winter over the ELF primer. I want to try this moisture stick, it will be so much more convenient than having to carry face lotion in my purse!

First n foremost moisturizer the winter can leave my skin looking like a cracked soap, next is my elf face primer to help smooth n even my skin, next is my elf studio foundation leaves a perfect finish, not so matte or too dewy just right for winter, and the slightest touch of my elf bronzer and you have my skin routine for fall and winter that's not over done. :-)

I always use a moisturizer instead of just tinted moisture and drink lots of water.. and I keep lotion and lip balm on hand when my skin starts to dry out!

I love cream products in the winter, I discovered two winters ago that my skin went from all year oily to super dry in the winter. Now I mix my tinted moisturizer and a little body shop tea tree skin clearing cream together and put it on before I do anything with my hair etc. By the time it sets and settles my skin calms down and I can decided what other make-up I want/need for the day. The other thing I do is line my lips with a clear wax liner, it doesn't show and helps prevent any bleeding from bright lipstick. I always stay in the creamy or glosses for winter but with constant chapped lips( no matter what I do.) it can happen.

I always use moisturizer and try to use everything in cream formula. The Elf multi use color stick is a great item to have. The colors available can be used as blush, eye shadow with a light touch and for lips...

In the winter a little moisturizer for my skin works after a shower. Then pat dry your skin and apply makeup!

I LOVE the Jumbo Eyeshadow Sticks. My favorite is Forest Nymph which brings out the gold in my hazel eyes. In winter I make sure to stay well-hydrated inside and out. I use lip balm religiously, steam my face before applying any mask, and make sure to use moisturizer afterwards. I have oily skin and in the summer a moisturizing spritz and sunblock is enough moisture for me, so I skip moisturizer entirely.

I actually just got the contouring blush and bronzing cream, and I love it. I'm glad to have found an ELF blush that doesn't have any shimmer in it, and is a good shade for me. Not sure how to use that contouring/bronzyish stuff, but I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.
