Our Favorite e.l.f. REDS!

Tuesday, April 01, 2014

Red lips are a great addition to any look, day or night. Our post today will help you pick the right shade for your skin tone. First timer? Not to worry... we've even got choices for you!

1. The LIGHTEST e.l.f. red: Glitter Gloss in Crystal Cranberry

If this is your first time trying red and you fear the thought of it showing up too much, try this color and formula. It is the right combination of sparkle and light color for a newbie! Wear it day or night.

2. A TINT of e.l.f. red: Glossy Gloss in Merry Cherry

For the girl with any skin-tone who just wants a bit of warmth on her lips… Merry Cherry is beautiful. It’s hydrating without feeling sticky and the blue- based tone is perfect at any time of the day. It’s also free of sparkle, but packed full of shine.

3. An ORANGE BASED e.l.f. red: Moisturizing Lipstick in Velvet Rope

Velvet rope lipstick is the perfect shade for light to medium skin tones since it’s an orange-based red. It looks best with a black or brown liquid liner on the eyes as it adds a pop of color to your whole look.

4. The BOLDEST e.l.f red: Lip Stain in Crimson Crush

This red is sure to get heads turning when applied in layers on the lip. Pat the marker continuously into your lip for maximum payoff or glide once for a soft wash of color. Crimson Crush is one of our favorite reds because it’s highly pigmented and REALLY stays.
