Beauty How To: 52 PIECE SULTRY COLLECTION

Tuesday, June 17, 2014

Hello elfettes! Are you crazy about palettes? How could you NOT be with this amazing new addition to the e.l.f. line! It's a sleek palette filled with colors that are seriously useful and look great on any skin tone... you won't find any random colors that won't ever get touched or used. Check out my model Shirley and how easy it was to beautify her wth this palette and other great products!

STEP 1: From the e.l.f. Studio 50 Piece Palette, select a light pink shade and apply with the Essential Shadow Brush. The exact shade is in column #2, 5th square down.

STEP 2: Apply a matte pink shadow into the crease using the e.l.f. Essential Blending Brush and a very soft touch. The exact shade is in column #2, 4th square down.

STEP 3: A dark plum color is perfect to add a smoky effect to the edges of the eyelid.Use your blending brush again to achieve this effect. The exact shade used is in column #4, 6th square down.

STEP 4: This look really shines with the right accents like liner and mascara! At this point, you should also define your brows if needed, using the e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit.

STEP 5: Time to add some color to those cheeks! Using your e.l.f. Essential Total Face Brush, select and apply a pink shade from the palette, or whatever works best for you.

STEP 6: Finish off your Sultry look with a soft, lip color. I used the Pink Minx, Moisturizing Lipstick on Shirley to add just enough color to balance her lips and the whole look.

Would YOU try this look? Let me know!

xoxo
Sonia

Love this thanks for the tips. Always looking for tips and how to. Please keep them coming. I love Elf. My nearest Walmart just starting carrying it too. Saw a display the other day. So excited. But would live to order more online because of the great deals. Thanks a lot Elf for making it more affordable for those of us on a tight budget. Great makeup!!!

You should always create TWO kits. Companies forget that there are a lot of us with fair skin and light hair who CANNOT wear black mascara (even brown/black is too dark). And then just because we need browns (to not look "goth" because we are so fair) does not mean we wear petal pinks in lip color. I have not found ONE shade on your side that I would wear in lipstick. I use brownish burgundies, rose-browns, copper w/red tones. I LOVE some of your products, but while you seem to have a lot, you are really limited in the scope of your colors. The Natural Radiance Collection appears to have a nice selection of colors - but again BLACK mascara. If you only knew how many tubes/vials of black I have (a box full) you would understand why some of us hate "collections". At least Avon used to offer a "warm" or a "cool" option.
