Rihanna and Chris Brown: Love or Hate?MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2013
(Photo source: Getty) Rihanna and Chris Brown. Chances are, if you hear their names together in sentence, a few thoughts may run into your mind. R&B superstars, talented musicians, controversial couple, the list goes on. Four years ago, on the eve of the Grammys, a very shocking story about the couple surfaced, later accompanied with by an even more disturbing image. This year at the Grammys, the couple displayed so much PDA, the camera couldn't seem to focus on anyone else. While the pair has claimed they were just friends up until recently and made it clear their relationship was "Nobody's Business", does the fact that their public figures matter? Or, should their relationship be their own business and not up to the public to scrutinize? Tell us what you think! Best Moments of the Golden Globes
Best Moments of the Golden GlobesWEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2013 Hollywood's Award season has started! We can't decide if we're more excited about the stars or the fashion! Here are our favorite moments from Sunday's show. What were your favorite parts? Tina Fey & Amy Pohler's opening speech
Source: AP No jokes were off limits for this hilarious pair in their opening dialouge, annoucing the Golden Globes as the only award show where "the beautiful people of film rub shoulders with the rat-faced people of TV." The jokes kept rolling when Tina Fey annouced, "Anne Hathaway is here for her performance in 'Les Misérables," she said, adding that she "had not seen anyone as alone and abandoned since you were on stage with James Franco at the Oscars." However, the best joke came later when Poehler referenced the controversy regarding the film, "Zero Dark Thirty" with, "I haven't paid much attention, but when it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron," which left the crowd gasping. A Presidential Appearance
Souce: E! News Bill Clinton introduced a clip of "Lincoln," which was up for best drama, and brought everyone to their feet as he stated, "We're all here tonight because he did it," of Lincoln's battle to end slavery. Lena Dunham's heartfelt acceptance speech
Source: ABC It's no secret we love Lena and we love her show, GIRLS. But Sunday night's acceptance speech for Best Actress in a TV Comedy (she also won Best TV Comedy for GIRLS) made us love her even more. "This award is for everyone who feels like there wasn't a place for her," she said. "This show made a space for me." Jessica Chastain wins Best Actress in Drama for Zero Dark Thirty
Source: Getty First, if you haven't seen the movie yet, go see it now. You'll be glad you did. Jessica Chastain played her role remarkably. When accepting her award last night she shined the spotlight on the director of Zero Dark Thirty, Kathryn Bigelow with the line, "I can't help but compare my character of Maya to you. … When you make a film that allows your character to disobey the conventions of Hollywood, you've done more for women in cinema than you take credit for." Unforunately Bigelow is not a nominee for Best Director at this year's Academy Awards, but won for the film, "Hurt Locker" at the 2010 Oscars and was the first women to be awarded Best Director by the Academy. Bigelow, who won an Oscar for "The Hurt Locker," was snubbed by this year's Academy Awards for best director. And of course, Argo
Source: Reuters Argo, directed by and starring Ben Affleck, won Best Motion Picture for Drama. Affleck aslo won a Golden Globe for Best Director, although he was as a nominee for the same category at the Oscars. What were your favorite moments of the Golden Globes?! Kanye's New Style
Kanye's New StyleFRIDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2012
Photo credit: Getty Wednesday night’s “12-12-12” concert at Madison Square Garden to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy was jam packed with talent. The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Bon Jovi came together with The Who, Eric Clapton and Alicia Keys and others, to help raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. While the star studded line up helped raise millions of dollars for the devastated areas, perhaps the most surprising part of the concert was Kanye West's outfit choice.
Photo credit: WENN Is that a skirt? Why yes, yes it is. We're not sure if he was borrowing from Kim's closet or just felt the need to step outside the box, but either way, he made a statement. What do you think? Will we start seeing men wearing skirts around the streets of NYC or was this just a one-off outfit choice to attention? READ MORE... ![]() RECENT COMMENT "Not a good look at all!
