July 4th means that Summer is truly here and it’s hotter than ever! This summer is filled with concerts and festivals that’ll rock. For all of your country music fans, the talented and beautiful Whitney Duncan kicks off her summer tour on July 8th in Fort Loramie, Ohio. She started singing at the little age of six, playing shows by 13, and learned the guitar at 19. Aside from singing and performing, Whitney loves softball, snowboarding and reading. She is also a makeup enthusiast and will be wearing e.l.f. cosmetics for her summer 2010 tour. Her CD “Right Road Now” includes the singles “Skinny Dippin” and “Bed that You Made”. Crystal Shawanda, You Can Let GoFRIDAY, NOVEMBER 07, 2008  I just discovered an amazing new artist that I’m thrilled to introduce you to. Her name is Crystal Shawanda she is a Native American Country Music Artist and has an awesome new hit tune that I keep humming around to called “You Can Let Go”, for all those girls out there you will love this song about a father and daughter’s relationship. Some other exciting news is RCA Records Nashville just released her new single "My Roots Are Showing" to country radio and if you pick up a People Magazine’s Country Issue which is currently on stands you get a free download of "Dawn Of A New Day," which is the title track from her album. The little I know of Crystal is inspiring and touching. I will be sharing my interview with you that I am having in the upcoming weeks, so check back to see her story and to learn more about this charming singer songwriter. There is just something about the south and some good ol’ country music that seems to put me in a good mood. I think it’s that it is a nice wholesome break from the edgy punk, pop, and rock I hear on the radio that has cursing, sexual innuendos, and just craziness in the lyrics. So I thought I would put a music alert out there for all of you relatable fans that Kenny Chesney just released a new album “Lucky Old Sun”. I’ve had their “Love Don’t Live Here ” song stuck in my head for awhile. This “All American”, ohh so sweet band is charming and talented, I got to check them out first hand at a concert on the beach and even got to chat it up with them… LOVE THEM!
