Waxing Tips 1: To cut down razor burn, try shaving in the shower. Showering in warm water a few minutes before a shave is sure to soften the hairs, making them more easily removed. If extractions make you dread going to the esthetician, request that they be done ‘wet.’ A ‘wet’ extraction involves an esthetician applying water or another emollient on your face before extraction which will act as a lubricating barrier, eliminating that pinching feeling.

Waxing
WaxingFRIDAY, MAY 09, 2008 Ouch, the very thought of it makes me cringe! As we rapidly approach bathing suit season (darn I need to shed those hibernation pounds) the “down there” area needs a little extra attention. I must admit I have braved a Brazilian wax, which minus the medieval torcher style pain and uncomfortable revealing spread eagle position, actually had some pretty rewarding and lasting payoffs. I didn’t have to shave for 2 weeks, and I was as smooth as a baby’s (well you know)! So, what do you think, is waxing worth the pain? Do you have any helpful pain fighting tips, tricks, or alternatives? Let’s hear and share your thoughts and secrets…and for every valid web comment on this blog only we will give you a Free $5 e.l.f. coupon via email just to say thanks (1 per person, valid to the first 100 posts only). ![]() READ MORE... ![]() RECENT COMMENT "I love waxing.
