David Babaii
David BabaiiTUESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2008 Ok so I just discovered an amazing new product line that I am super passionate about. I was flipping through my Marie Claire when I saw a beautiful ad for David Babaii products with Kate Hudson and cute little lion cubs! David Babaii products are all natural, free of sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals and animal products. And of course they don’t test on animals. But the best part is 10% of the proceeds are donated to the WildAid, which is the global wildlife conservation organization to help save endangered animals. I gave these products a try to see if their payoff was as good as their cause and…THEY ARE! David Babaii products range around $14 and are available at most drugstores. So I encourage you to check them out, not only can you help save your hair, but you can save animals too! Do you have any charities or causes you are passionate about? Let’s hear them!

Aptera Car
Aptera CarFRIDAY, AUGUST 08, 2008 Futuristic gadgets have been popping up in stores like Sharper Image for years now, but have you ever seen a car like this before?! The car is called Aptera Typ-1, the car will be in production in October 2008 with prices start from $26,900 as is available for pre-order now.And no, it doesn’t fly to space even though it sure looks like it could. And it doesn’t even hover. So why does it have such shockingly futuristic design? Because it can achieve 300 miles to the gallon, that’s why! With gas prices sky rocketing higher and higher everyday, don’t be surprised if more cars like this one start to pop up all over the place. But what do you think, would you drive it? My intern saw it and said “no way, it’s way too weird; it looks like the Jetsons’ car!” But when she visited the car and actually got to ride in it, she reconsidered.. I mean, it is a great conversation starter when you pull it up to your neighborhood Starbucks. And the money you save on gas can be used for a shopping spree, right? Not to mention some major cities like LA offer free metered parking for Hybrid cars. So what do you think, are you willing to stand out like a sore thumb to save money and the environment? Or is it just too much? To learn more about the Aptera car click here: Aptera

Envirosax
EnvirosaxFRIDAY, JULY 18, 2008 Loving both the environment and fashion can be tricky. Sometimes being involved in one can completely compromise the other. Well, luckily for you the folks at Envirosax felt the same way. If you’ve ever shopped at Whole Foods, you probably have seen how they now sell reusable bags. Well now you can have a reusable bag at any store – and it’s about ten times cuter too! Envirosax has mixed functionality and fun and sells reasonably priced, brightly colored, and well made bags. The fabric is durable and can hold all the items you need. And forget just the grocery store…why not take it on your next shopping spree? One of these bags holds the same amount as two or three plastic grocery store bags. And with a variety of colors to chose from, it’s the most fashionable and fun way to not have to bend over backwards to help Mother Earth. To learn more check out http://envirosax.com/
