Remember Our Serviceman & WomenSUNDAY, NOVEMBER 08, 2009 During this time of year when so many of us are gearing up for the joyous holiday season and spending time with family, there are many others that are longing to be home with theirs. They are the men and women who have chosen a life of serving our country so that we can continue to live in the land of the FREE. To them I will always be thankful. My father and my grandfather served in the military. We may not always agree with why we are fighting, but regardless, we should always offer our respect to these amazing people. This Holiday Season, let's keep our thoughts and prayers with them and their families. You may even want to consider donating to one of the many organizations that helps remind our soldiers they are not alone. There are also ways to donate to their families they have left behind. Jon and Kate... ENOUGH!!WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2009 Today standing in the check out line I realized, " I am SO SICK of hearing about Jon and Kate plus 8".....errrrr, I mean minus one??? Every magazine I saw as I stood there had a new headline.
Kate "I'm afraid for my kids" "Jon used drugs while watching his kids"
"Jail for Jon" Spying and Stealing "The Kids in Tears" as you see a picture of Kate shaking one.
Those are all headlines from just this weeks magazines. REALLY.....who cares? Okay, to be honest I was not a fan before this whole divorce thing. I don't care what they do with their lives, as long as they figure it out quick. I mean who is really suffering here?? I will give you EIGHT guesses!
