I found it difficult to apply with the brush so I ended up just using my fingers which works quite well. These colors are perfect for a natural look, I haven't tried the smokey eye look though. I got the Sugar Cookies and I love love love it. The colors blend in very well.

i tried it out when i got it and loved it. so i order a few more. yes it does wear off but u can apply a non color shimmer powder to keep it on longer. i can totally see using this with powder eyeshadow too (i haven't tried this yet, but i will). i also used the elf shimmer eyeliner with this shadow.

After not even 5 minutes of having this on my eye it creased severely. I even tried using a primer on it and it STILL creased. Should of listened to the other reviews that said the same thing. Although it didn't look well on my eyes it might look good on someone else's. I do have to say that the price was good and the color combination was pretty.

This one feels nice and blends well but there wasn't enough color. It wasn't very pigmented. Both eye shadows went on looking colorless. I'm not sure if it's me or if I got a bad one, but I literally drew a side of the gold along side the mauve looking color (sugar cookie duo), and they both looked like the same color exactly. Then I blended and the color disappeared. No matter how much I put on, the color didn't really appear very well.
I'm a very light beige skin tone. A tad fair in most lighting, though I can appear tan in other lighting.

This product was okay I guess. I got the mocha swirl one. The lighter color is shown to be pink on this site, but it was a murky gray in mine. The lighter one was not pigmented at all, it hardly showed up. The darker color was very pigmented.
But the cream shadows wore off in about 45 minutes and creased horribly.

I made a makeup tutorial with the black licorice quad and it was AMAZING. However, I did use the eyeshadow primer.. and I put eyeshadows over it. But I still loved it. The problem is that if you wear it alone, it will crease on monolids.. But that's very common with all shadows... If you use a primer it won't crease as much..

IT WAS SO GLOOPY!!!!!! I brought it on a whim, i put it on and in a few minutes it made my eyes feel greasy, i had to put the ELF eyelid primer on it. I would buy it again if ELF improves the formula.
