These are great products, but they're EXACTLY the same as the Essential brightening eyeshadows. They have the same colors and everything. The only difference is that these have words printed on the color. Don't waste your money on one of these, instead get two of the brightening ones!!!! Still a great product, though. I just wish elf wouldn't try to fool people into thinking they're getting something different when they're NOT.

This is a good set for a travel bag, especially. A nice neutral set of colors that looks very pretty (I have brown eyes). As long as you blend well (which isn't hard) it's a great look. I recommend you use it with the e.l.f. Essential Eyelid Primer for it to last longer and for the pigment to be truer. If you have darker skin some of these shadows might not show up well, though - for my fair skin they look great.

I got this in 'beautiful browns' as a replacement to the essential eyeshadow I had bought previously from elf in butternut. I was really impressed with how nice and natural the colors looked. I followed the instructions and I thought that the colors looked great. I also ended up using the 'line' color to fill in my brows.
I'll definitely be going back to target and getting some more colors next time I'm there!

I purchased this eye shadow in tantalizing taupe and was really impressed. I will most likely be purchasing some of their other colors. I have been having issues with the staying power of the eyeshadows but this was very nice. they are all kind of satin shadows and have a bit of shimmer. I like shimmer so I really like these.

I am a longtime ELF fan and love most of their products. I bought the Party Purple set in hopes I would love that too. I went to swatch it and the pigmentation is just terrible on this set at least. 3 of the 4 colors had almost no pigmentation. I had to dig in over and over to get it to show. They were all chalky and had lots of fallout.
I am so bummed because the colors look beautiful, but my advice is to steer clear of this one. If you want good shadows check out their loose mineral shadows, those are great.

I love this product and the color is just what I was hoping for! I got beautiful browns and it looks great with my skin tone (fair) and it stays all day at school for me. The only con I have is, the small 1'' brush it comes with is very hard to use because of the size, and it is quite rough. I suggest you buy the eye shadow brush (which I also recommend), that is soft and easier to handle/use.

I have Golden Goddess and party purple. Golden goddess compliments my brown eyes well, and is subtle with a little bit of shine. It looks very sophisticated. Purple being my favorite color, I was interested in the party purple, which is great to wear as a less sophisticated, more playful look.
