I was sooo excited for this because you know everyone is coming out with these suckers so since i like elf i thought id give it a try when i saw them at target! i purchased movie star and pink umbrellas and noo! i didnt like the smell of movie star its like a cinnamon red hot candy/gum ughhh! if thats your thing go right ahead!
the top kept coming off and immediately i was like no! how am i supposed to carry it around without the stuff smearing all around my bag :(

I absolutely love this product! I was looking for a nice natural lip color, and this was definitely it. This exceeded my expectations so much - it's so so moisturizing, smells like mint, tingles a little bit on your lips when you apply it (like Burt's Bees), and lasts for such a long time. Great dupe for Revlon Lip Butter :)

e.l.f Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick isn't THAT bad, but it sure isn't at the top of my "Best Products from e.l.f." list, judging from my first impression.
I ordered the 'Tiki Torches' shade, and it looked nice online, but when it arrived in the mail, it was whole different story! The stick was an extremely deep coral color, which I personally don't mind - I love coral. But when I actually applied 'Tiki Torches' to my lips, all I saw was gold glitter. That's it. No coral, no pigmentation, just glitter. It made me feel like I was wearing a tube of my Mom's old lipstick from the 80's; no, that is definitely not a compliment.
My applause goes to the way the gloss glides on and how soothing it is to my dry lips. But I still can't get past the color. Maybe I'll try a different shade of this gloss, but I'm pretty skeptical right now.

I have two of these Jumbo Gloss Sticks, one in Sangria Starters and one in Pink Umbrellas. These are a great everyday product that are easy and quick to apply for a sheer wash of color. They are not as pigmented as I was expecting but they are gloss sticks, not lipsticks, so that is okay. These are great for a natural look and to amplify your natural lip color, while providing a creamy look and moisturizing feel.

I have this product in In the Nude, Summer Nights, and Pink Umbrella. These are the only lip products I keep in purse because they are easy to apply and have lovely pigmentation. They are also easy on my budget which means I get more bang for my buck!

I feel like elf products can be really hit or miss sometimes, but I'm in love with this lip gloss stick. I ordered the Coco Loco and it looks great on my skin tone. It's darker than other nude tone colors I've tried before, and it almost has a peachy-rosy tone to it. It glides on nicely and feels really moisturizing while adding an even color. I also love the jumbo pencil shape - it makes it easy to apply the exact amount you want, and it doesn't feel sticky. I even wear it over other lip colors.

I got this in "In the Nude," and I have to say I'm entirely disappointed by it. It goes on very thick and sets into the fine lines of my lips. It looks cheap and unattractive.
The only pros are that it has good pigmentation (though it's still ugly) and good coverage. I have dark red lips, and this shade covered them up rather well. Unfortunately, it's not the coverage I'm looking for.
