i bought this for myself so i could have more makeup for a great deal and it is a really great deal but i waould never buy this as a gitf just casue all the prodcts come sepret it not a gift pack i would just buy this for yourself but not as a gilf ...... and i love every thing in the pack its all great

I liked this because it gave me a good preview of what ELF has to offer. I hadn't tried their products before and this was a good way to test a bunch of their products (and for a good price).
The bag is awesome... that was my favorite piece!
All the colors were nice except for the bronzer (too dark for my skin tone). I did find that the eye shadows wore off a little too soon, but I think buying the makeup setter should fix that.
I don't like the brushes (shed too much), but I haven't tried ELF's premium brushes... maybe those are better.
Overall, awesome. I plan on buying another for my cousin.

this gift set is great the only thing i was dissapointed in was that the colors shown are not the colors you get as far as the makeup case and hypershine gloss goes and the total face brush is to large to fit into the mineral booster the material used for the total face brush is way to harsh to be rubbed on skin otherwise elf described the products given perfectly. would be good as a gift but the items just come in a seprate bag and not actualy with the bag so i wouldnt really give as a gift ive seen better from elf!

I ended up buying this for myself and it's a perfect set. Complete with eyes, lips and face you can't go wrong.

The brushes are soft and the bristles don't come out when you use them. Be sure to wash them before use and dry them wish a non white towel. Bristles are red and they can bleed the first time they're cleaned.

Lip products aren't sticky or smell bad. One is a light pink/purple gloss and a clear gloss with shimmer.

Cheek color is simple and light. Shadows are pigmented and has good color pay off. Bronzer is very shimmery (not matte) and can be a little over powering.

Loose makeup is sheer and travel friendly. Nail polish comes in clear, a champagne/pink, and a va va voom red (not names of products just descriptions).

Travel case is Ideal because there is a zipper side that has brush holders and an elastic pouch. The other zippered pouch is deep and can hold a lot of makeup if necessary.
