Rated 4 out of 5 by from Changed My Life! I bought this not too long ago and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this brush!!! I used to never wear pencil eyeliner because it would not apply smoothly to my eye and look bad, but since I discovered this sponge, I LOVE the look of eyeliner on me! This sponge makes it easy to smudge my eyeliner to whatever look I want! You have complete control over where and how much smudging takes place! It isn't as soft as I'd like, but it doesn't hurt. 9/10 product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ouch! First time dissapointed in an elf tool. I usually use drugstore liner that has a smudge sponge at the end but after buying some liners that don't, I thought this would be good for it. Honestly don't know if it even works well because I could not get past how rough and hard it was - not a smooth, spongey surface at all. This one's a miss for elf.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't complain! I actually started using the smudge eye sponge a month or two back and I absolutely <3 it! I mostly use it to apply my bases or primers to my eyelids or to smudge out my eyeliner if I feel like I put too much on, and then I just reapply it lightly. It definitely can be used for those things, i'm in love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I noticed a few ladies complaining that this doesn't apply eyeshadow well. That isn't what it's for,"Use the sponge tip to expertly SMUDGE and BLEND eyeliner and eyeshadow." is what the description says. When used as instructed, this smudge sponge works beautifully. I can certainly see if you skipped the instructions and tried to use it for application, you would be sorely disappointed.
