I got this brush because I honestly thought they looked so cute! I love the gems on it. When I finally got it in the mail, I was so excited to use it, and as I tried, I found I really didn't like it. The brissels on it are pretty scratchy, and I'd suggest using the studio powder brush. I like the brissels on that better. I'm very sad though that I bought it because it's a little more expensive and I now hardly use it at all. Big disappointment and waste of money for sure :(

When I received this item, I was impressed with the detail. It is a very pretty item. Later that day I decided to use it, the handle part completely fell off. I was so upset. I called ELF and they sent to another express. After 2 days of receiving it, it happened again. I was so upset.

For Christmas I got this set of brushes. I saw in comments that they were not soft and shed a lot so I didn't know what to think. I got them and loved the color and gems (none have fallen off for me). I did take them out and they had some shedding and weren't particularly soft. I washed them with the Elf brush shampoo and let them dry over night and this morning they are soft don't show any signs of shedding and work better than they did yesterday!

Got a few of these (powder, blush and eyeshadow) and they are pretty nice. They are really cute and I prefer the shorter handels as they will be easier to pack for travel. They are not very soft but other than that they are simular to the studio brushes.

This brush gets the job done, but the bristles were not soft at all. They're extremely rough I hate the feeling it leaves on my skin. If they fix the bristles, then it would be so much better!

This is an update on the GEM powder brush. The fraying of the bristles has continued as I've used the brush. The studio collection brushes that i purchased at the same time as the GEM have held up much better and feel like higher quality. The diamonds are pretty- but the quality seems to be lower than the studio collection. I recommend those brushes.

I ordered the entire GEM collection and it was finally delivered today! Woohoo! I loved the diamonds on the brushes- I'm a glittery person so I think they are beautiful. The bristles are fairly dense, which is good- and the brush is very soft. However, some of the bristles were frayed and sticking out of the sides of the brush when I opened the package. The handles are also shorter than the studio collection (I prefer long handles, so it's personal preference).
