Loved this primer.
My eyeliner used to smudge, even 30 min. after i put it on (If it's a hot day outside). I put a little on my eyelids before applying eyeliner and a little on the bottom to keep the liner from "raining down."

I bought the primer in Blush rather than Sheer expecting just a hint of colour to the primer but the color is VERY pigmented and doesn't look natural. There are also large clumps of glitter that fall off onto my undereye which makes me look like a 12-year-old using a "My-First-Makeup-Kit." I rated the product a 4 star because it does serve well as a primer, it's just the color of the Blush that was awful.

Out of all the e.l.f. products I own, this one is the best by far! I use it everyday and occasionally night. I apply this on my lids before I apply my eye makeup then go through my daily routine and it is still like I just applied it when I get home! It holds very well and the only "negative" thing about is the odd texture...which hardly bothers me at all.

Very good for keeping my eyeshadow on all day! It can reach up to 115 degrees during the Phoenix summer, and my make up is usually melted off by the middle of the day. This did a wonderful job of keeping the majority of eye shadow and eyeliner on. By the end of the day, my crush was still able to compliment me on my eyes, so it's definitley doing something right!

I get it in Sheer
Applies creamy and indeed feels like silk!
Never has it allowed any creasing, which is just amazing.
It holds my shadow strongly all day.
I love the way the light color evens out the tone of my lid, so when I'm ut for a run or something quick I ALWAYS apply this.
Looks very natural on my fair skin.
I haven't tried the Essential eye primer, but I will never have to. I will gladly pay the extra $2 for this formula. Tried and True :)
