I really like this eyebrow kit. I use the wax first so the powder has something to cling to. I've heard of people doing powder, then wax, but for me - I like doing the wax first.

I usually get a shade lighter than my eyebrows for brow products so my eyebrows don't look dark, but I read reviews that said to get a shade DARKER.. and I absolutely agree with that comment and I am glad I saw that review. I was intimidated by the color of the wax and was scared it would be too dark, but I am glad I listened to the reviews, because anything lighter than the medium shade would have been too light.

I think the medium shade would be the most universal. You can adjust the color by how much product you use.

The medium does NOT have a red undertone. That's one of my biggest concerns when it comes to eyebrow products, but this does NOT have the red /orange tone that some brow products have.

I bought one for a friend a while back and she said she loved it. I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. My hair is a black brown or dark brown hair and the medium works well with my hair color. It takes a while to work the product into the brush but I don't really mind.

I guess I'm just a pencil person, this is the first time I have used a gel brow kit to accentuate my arched eyebrows. When it comes to brows I am a budget buyer and long time afficionado of Maybelline Expert Wear twinpack waterproof eyebrow pencils in Blonde. This Ash color did not look as natural on me and the gel moved around too much although I did like the powder and still do use it to set my brow pencil.

I have dark brown hair. I originally purchased this kit in medium but found it to look a bit harsh. I repurchased it in "ash" and it is perfect. Not too obvious but fills in and defines my brows for a less dramatic every day look.

I absolutely love this eyebrow kit. It's easy to use and it looks fabulous! It does NOT look in any way fake-- unless you get the wrong color. The only downside is that it can be a little messy. But that wouldn't stop me from repurchasing this product. I bought mine in ash, and it's a great color for blondes, such as myself. And if you live in a humid climate like me, you don't have to worry about it moving or sweating off.

I think this is a great kit. It makes it really simple to fill in your eyebrows and it looks pretty natural. I was a bit skeptical about using powder to fill them in because it looks a little bit light for my dark brown eyebrows but it really works wonders for me. I love the gel part to put more emphasis on the areas I need and it also helps to keep them in place. Highly recommend!

The eyebrow kit does the job. I like the feel of the gel and the "powder" because they both feel very silky. The brush it comes with does the job, not the best, but it is decent. I feel like I have to really work the brush into the gel to pick up the color. I feel that this eyebrow kit would not be suitable in hot, humid weather, due to the fact that it is a gel product and I don't think the powder truly has enough power to set the gel because it also has that silky texture. Overall, not bad, not great. I do use it a lot but I have to use a different powder to set the gel side. I have not worn it in hot weather yet, but I have the feeling that it would melt off my face once I begin to sweat.

I would not recommend this to anyone that has oily skin preferably.

This is a good product that I would buy again but it is very pigmented once its on its hard to get it off if you mess up but in the end it looks good seems to last most of the day

Overall, the product does what it's supposed to. The gel covers well to make my brows more defined. I am olive complexion with dark brown brows and hair and the medium gel color works very well. The applicator, however, isn't the best. I would recommend using a different brush. Also, the powder for the medium tone has a bit of a red hue. Nonetheless I am very satisfied.
