Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this This is absolutely not an eyeshadow. It has a gel-like texture that is really hard to apply. I got it in the color Confetti to highlight my eyes because it's a really nice color, but I can't even use it since the texture is so weird.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome pigmentation! At least on 'Soiree' that I bought the other day. It's an interesting texture but I actually really like it because you can kind of feel it cling to your eyelid/skin and stay there. I'd guess that trait might possibly make it a little difficult to blend, but I haven't tried to do that with it yet, so it very well may do so just fine. I also love how this color helps make my green eyes stand out. No real difficulty applying it, I use brushes for most of my makeup application. The lighting in the picture wasn't great, but figured I'd leave it here anyway. It's just a smidge more purple than the photo conveys and it's definitely a shimmery shadow too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great to use, and not just great for eyes!!! I bought this the other night, and it is great!! It's a little pricier than the other products from elf, but it's still one of the cheapest products out there. A little difficult to apply, but it's great all in all! I got the Confetti color and the Festivity color and if you wanna make your lipstick lighter or darker, with a little bit of sparkle, apply one or the other on top of it and blend. Smells a little odd, but that's not noticeable when you're wearing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More colors please? this stuff is great - it has great building ability; you can wear it light for a little flash or heavy for more pizzaz. I only wish there were a wider range of colors to choose from like in the geo palettes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too much glitter I bought this in four shades party and toast...then in two other shades but their names are not labeled on the product. Basically, way too much glitter for my taste and age. The texture is unusual and it is poorly pigmented. More glitter on lid than anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have this product in 5 different shades and I love every single one! They go with anything and everything. I love the feel, and sparkle. Seriously, its worth more than what you're spending!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in love!!! I have been using Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre long wear luminous eye shadow for a little over a year now because I love a highly pigmented and long wearing creamy shadow. It retails for $36. I have tried other products that have claimed to be highly pigmented and long wearing but have found the Chanel to be the best, until now. I absolutely love this eye shadow!! I wear eye shadow on a daily basis and this I find goes on smooth and easily (I just use my finger) and it lasts all day, it doesn't crease and the color is highly pigmented. I'm absolutely amazed at the quality of this product for it's price...$3!! I will never go back to Chanel!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ive owned them for awhile, time 2 write a review(: These come in individual pots, and are similar to a cream eyeshadow with almost a gel like consistency. To be honest, I am pretty much in love with the consistency of these shadows. They are just so smooth & bouncy, yet very pigmented too, especially since they are not your typical powder eyeshadow. I just adore them and own every shade :) And at three dollars a piece, you just can't beat that!! :) (I am a huge make-up lover, and I typically use them at least a few times a week!) I usually use them as a base underneath my powder eye shadows, but they can be used alone on the lid too, and they work just as well. In fact, that's a super fast & easy look right there! Start off by blending a soft matte -meaning no shimmer- powder eyeshadow into your crease, (preferably a color similar to your natural skin tone, just a few shades darker) and then add ELF's Lustrous Eyeshadow to your eyelid, finish off by blending in & around your crease a bit more, so they're no harsh lines anywhere, and then there you go! :D IF you want to take it a step further, you could take an even deeper matte shade (it could be a dark brown, burgundy, maroon, etc. depending on what shade of the Lustrous eyeshadow you used) and put that softly along the outer V of your eye, perhaps even half way across your lower lash line as well, if you'd like, and then blend, blend, blend. And blend some more!! ;) It's super, super easy, I promise! ;) If you're having any difficulties, YouTube will be your best friend! It's a great resource, especially for beginners with makeup! :) Although, if I could change one thing about these Lustrous Eye Shadow's, I would ask for them to make more shades! LOL! They are amazing!! Thanks ELF!! :)
