Apply a light Eyeshadow color to the brow bone and inner
eye corner of the eye to highlight the brow and eye. With the Eyeshadow Applicator, blend a mid-toned Eyeshadow
color onto the eyelid from the lash line to the crease. Blend edges. Apply a deeper Eyeshadow color to the outer 1/3 of the eye lid in the crease, blending as you go and building the color gradually. Apply eye shadow
over the eyeliner. This helps to set it and holds the liner in place for longer. Line the lash line with the Eyeliner
for a more defined and dramatic look if desired.

I bought both sets, but I much prefer the Nude Eyes set. There is a good mix of matte and shimmer. There is a duechrome gold/pink in the set that I am head over heels in love with!

I went into a discounted retailer to do a bit of shoe shopping when I walked into the Skin Care/Makeup section of the store and noticed this Beauty Book on a shelf.
I opened this one in particular because it was already opened and someone else had already sampled some of the colours so I did as well.
Awful pigment. Chalky and you would need to really, really, really pack on colour even with a primer. The packaging is cheap as well. Not impressed.
I don't recommend this book if you are new to eyeshadows; not worth the money. The Essentials Brightening Eyeshadow Quads do a much better job.

The package was a lot bigger than I had anticipated, and it is flimsy and cheap. The colours themselves are true to the website display, and I was really eager to try them, but I couldn't apply the colours with any sort of colour building up. The applicators that came with the set I didn't use, and my normal brushes didn't pick up any of the powder. What you could get out of the colour didn't blend very well.
Summary: Although the colours are pretty, the packaging is bulky and cheap, and the product is hard to apply.
